The rich understand how to create time. The poor don’t understand how to create time and so are owned by it.

The more valuable you become, the more needed you are by others. So this idea that you’re going to just grind and get money and then disappear is a fantasy. No one doing meaningful work actually does that. You have a responsibility to others.

Either increase your necessity level or live a less ambitious life.
Your ability to get what you want out of life is directly proportional to your necessity to change.

Ok it flies. But what’s more impressive? It’s able to suction itself to the ground while upside down. Why is nobody talking about this?
OMG the Tesla Roadster just flew in the air!

There’s a scoreboard at my gym. Shows who’s got the top lift score for that day. And I walk in and immediately check who’s got it. I see this guys name and a number. “Dave - 235 lbs” My buddy says “yeah, Dave’s over there. He sandbagged it at 235 lbs!” I look at my buddy: “THE NUMBER IS THE NUMBER AND THATS WHAT HE THREW UP ON THE BOARD TODAY.” Full stop. It doesn’t read “Dave - 235 lbs because he sandbagged” Do you understand?

Common misconception: using higher friction on your application funnel does not result in higher intent customers. Example: using curiosity to create interest will always result in higher booking rates. Let me explain. If you're using curiosity to get people to fill out an application, you are essentially creating a mystery. If the mystery is strong enough, it will literally pull the customer through the application. I've experimented on this using thousands of data points and the amount of friction in the application didn't make a difference because the customer was so CURIOUS to find out how it all worked.

Look no further for proof: The "No AI" category is starting to become very common in the open market for YouTube playlists. Which only means one thing. People don't want to be disconnected from what's human. "AI replacement theory" in complete shambles.

The man with power and money will forever seek the favor of the man who is seen to succeed in all his endeavors without these things.

Strive to be effective. That means sometimes doing things the easy way. Don’t seek to win anyone’s favor by doing things the hard way. That is a road which leads to a hard life. You’ll end up pinned down and hemmed in with pressures forever outside of your control. Effectiveness is knowing the shortest path from point A to point B. To hell with anyone or anything that stands in your way.

I've met people from all walks of life. Happy people. Sad people. And there's a third group. Who understands there's a job to be done. They do not ask how you are doing. Happy or sad? The work must be done. They do not know defeat. And so they cannot know sadness.

People think they don’t have the time to sort themselves out. They run around saying “I don’t have time, I don’t have time, I don’t have time.” The reality is it’s because they never sort themselves out that they don’t have time.

I wish someone told me this sooner: The most common pain point in your industry is often NOT the same pain point as the people who buy from you. You can waste thousands of dollars advertising to a target audience who will never pay you. All because you thought the most popular hooks had to do with commonly held pain points.
