Just got my speaker card for Meridian 2026. 🇵🇹
Decaf will be giving a Lightning Keynote in Lisbon this October.
This year, we’ve seen stablecoins used for humanitarian aid paying thousands of families in Venezuela, helped people from 100+ nationalities access and use money across borders, and watched the technology start to disappear into the background.

Heartbreaking images continue to come out of Venezuela. People are still trapped in collapsed buildings, and every second counts for rescue efforts.
We've just sent all the collected money so far to Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad @DVC_VE (@UnitedWay) so they can get aid to those who need it immediately.
Normally, donations to campaigns go into US bank accounts and can take days or weeks to reach organizations on the ground. With Decaf Pay and USDC, the funds were already in their account in less than 24 hours.
