PonsMCP Roadmap: The agent execution layer for the ecosystem.
PonsMCP starts with a simple problem: AI agents need a way to pay for things. But payments are only the beginning. The long-term vision is to give agents the infrastructure they need to discover, pay, trade, launch, and manage onchain activity autonomously while keeping keys local, policies enforceable, and every action verifiable onchain.
Phase 1 — Agent Payments.
The foundation PonsMCP's first layer is autonomous payments through Stripe's Machine Payments Protocol (MPP).
Core capabilities:
- MPP payment handling
- USDG payment quotes
- Policy checks
- Per-transaction spending limits
- Daily spending limits
- Balance checks before broadcast
- Local private-key control
- USDG settlement on Robinhood Chain
- Onchain receipt verification
- MCP + TypeScript SDK
- Claude / Cursor / MCP host compatibility
Goal > Give agents a safe and inspectable way to pay for services without requiring a human to complete checkout.
Status: Live
Phase 2 — Pons Intelligence.
Before agents can act, they need context.
PonsMCP will expose Pons ecosystem intelligence directly through MCP tools.
Agent capabilities:
- Read Pons launch metadata
- Discover canonical pools
- Read official project socials
- Monitor live markets
- Inspect token information
- Retrieve market and liquidity data
- Analyze launches
Goal : Turn PonsMCP into the information layer agents can use before making decisions.
Read → Analyze → Decide
Phase 3 — Trade Agent.
The next step is giving agents the ability to interact with markets. The Trade Agent will allow agents to research, plan, and execute trades within strict user-defined policies.
Core capabilities:
- Portfolio and balance inspection
-Token discovery
- Market analysis
- Liquidity checks
- Swap quotes
- Buy / sell execution
- Slippage protection
- Maximum trade size
- Daily trading limits
- Approved-token lists
- Transaction simulation
- Onchain execution
- Receipt verification
- Position tracking
- P&L monitoring
Example policy:
> Max $50 per trade
> Max $200 per day
> Only trade approved tokens
> Never trade below X liquidity
The agent can make decisions within those boundaries.
Goal > Move from:
Agent can pay
to: Agent can execute financial actions safely.
Phase 4 — Launchpad Agent.
Once agents can participate in markets, the next step is letting them create markets.
The Launchpad Agent will provide an agent-native interface for launching and managing tokens through Pons.
Core capabilities:
- Launch research
- Token configuration
- Supply configuration
- Launch parameter generation
- Deployment preparation
- Launch execution
- Liquidity configuration
- Launch monitoring
- Holder analytics
- Volume monitoring
- Creator fee tracking
- Post-launch management
Example > A user could tell an agent:
Prepare a launch with this name, supply, liquidity and parameters.
The agent handles the preparation, validates the configuration, checks policies, and presents the final transaction for execution. For irreversible actions, explicit approval remains part of the flow.
Goal > Make launching onchain assets as programmable as calling an API.
Idea → Configure → Launch → Monitor
Phase 5 — Treasury Agent.
Agents that can pay, trade, and launch eventually need treasury management.
The Treasury Agent will provide controlled management of onchain funds.
Core capabilities:
- Balance monitoring
- Incoming/outgoing payment tracking
- Budget management
- Automated allocations
- Revenue tracking
- Treasury reporting
- Spending policies
- Portfolio allocation
- Multi-wallet monitoring
- Scheduled transactions
Example:
> Keep 50% in USDG
> Allocate 20% to liquidity
> Keep 20% for operations
> Use 10% for agent services
All actions remain constrained by predefined policies.
Goal > Give autonomous systems a controlled financial operating layer.
Phase 6 — Agent-to-Agent Economy.
This is where PonsMCP becomes much more interesting.
Agents shouldn't only interact with human.
Agents should be able to transact with other agents.
A research agent could discover another agent offering market intelligence.
The service agent returns a payment request.
The buyer agent pays in USDG.
The service is delivered.
The payment is verified onchain.
Example:
Research Agent
↓
discovers data provider
↓
Payment Agent
pays USDG
↓
Data Agent
returns research
↓
Trade Agent
uses the information
↓
executes within policy
This creates a primitive for agent-to-agent commerce.
Goal > Build the payment and execution infrastructure for an economy where software can buy and sell services from other software.
Phase 7 — Autonomous Onchain Businesses.
The final direction is not simply autonomous trading.
It's autonomous businesses.
A collection of specialized agents could operate together:
> Research Agent
(Finds opportunities and gathers information)
> Payment Agent
(Pays for external services)
> Trade Agent
(Executes approved market actions)
> Launchpad Agent
(Creates and manages launches)
> Treasury Agent
(Manages capital and revenue)
> Growth Agent
( Handles distribution, content, and ecosystem activity) Each agent has its own tools and permissions while operating within a shared policy layer.

Agent-to-Agent Commerce
All connected through: MCP + USDG + Robinhood Chain + Policy Controls + Onchain Verification
The Core Principles: No matter how far PonsMCP expands, the architecture stays built around a few principles.
1. Local Key Control
Private keys stay with the agent runtime.
2. Policy First
Limits are checked before funds move.
3. Onchain Truth
Actions aren't considered complete because a UI says so.
The transaction must be verified onchain.
4. Open Source
The infrastructure should remain inspectable and auditable.
5. Modular Agents
Payment, trading, launching, treasury, and intelligence should be separate capabilities that agents can combine.
6. Human Control Where It Matters
Autonomy doesn't mean unlimited permissions.
Users define the boundaries.
Agents operate inside them.
PonsMCP is building infrastructure for agents that can actually do things onchain.
Give agents the tools to act economically, while keeping humans in control of the rules.
