Dear Leftists: They want you to get killed, so they can use your death as grist for the propaganda mill. This is why they feed you such dangerous misinformation as "ICE agents can't arrest citizens." They want you to act stupidly, so that you get killed. Stop listening to them.
This was written by someone, not me. But sums it up pretty well, what was she thinking? I’m a mother, so I’m going to comment right now. I will say this exactly the way a mother thinks it, raw, direct, and without pretending this is complicated. A 37-year-old woman. Three kids. Middle of a work week. The father of those children is dead. She is the parent left. The one job she has above every cause, every protest, every headline, is getting home to her kids. And what is she doing instead? She’s out of state (other reports claim she lives there), in the street, in her car, blocking federal agents who are doing their job. Not alone! Her partner is right there filming her like this is some brave little documentary moment. Around them: sirens blaring, people yelling, pure chaos, manufactured chaos, so agents can’t do their lawful duty. Her window is down. She hears the orders. She understands the orders. She ignores the orders. Then she puts the car in reverse. Still doesn’t comply. Then she puts it in drive, NOT park! She moves forward into the agent. That’s not “confusion.” That’s not “panic.” That’s decision after decision after decision. Now put yourself in the agent’s shoes for half a second. A driver is already in an unlawful act! refusing commands in a hostile, chaotic scene, and now that driver uses a vehicle to move toward you. You get a split second. You don’t get the luxury of “Maybe she’s just stressed.” You have to assume the worst, you have to think of protecting other people like the partner at the window, because if you assume the best and you’re wrong, you don’t go home or someone else. So the agent fires after she makes an intentional and aggressive move toward him, because he has no idea what her intentions are, and she just demonstrated she’s willing to escalate. Now… imagine her three kids. At school. Sitting there like any other day. Not knowing their mother is out playing street-hero games for criminals in the middle of a work week, with the two adults responsible for them! She didn’t think about them. She didn’t think, “If I get arrested, who picks my babies up?” She didn’t think, “If I get hurt, who raises them?” She didn’t think, “If I die, they have nobody.” She thought about protecting criminals. She thought about interfering with federal agents. She thought about the camera. She thought about the crowd. She thought about the moment. There is no amount of evidence, money, tears on TV, or news spin that can make this make sense. As a mother: NOTHING about this makes sense. At minimum, she knew her actions could get her arrested. At minimum. And she still chose it. She chose strangers. She chose chaos. She chose lawlessness. Make it make sense, because the only thing I see is three kids who just got abandoned by the only parent they had left, not by accident… but by a series of deliberate choices.

Call me a conspiracy theorist. The Christa Pike case was getting massive amounts of national attention. Anti death penalty activists rallied around it. And then magically Pike survives multiple doses of "lethal injection." Now she's in a hospital getting medical treatment (something her victim, who she tortured to death, never received). There's very good reason to suspect that it was botched on purpose.

No. Of course men should be "able" to wear dresses. But it is and should remain "weird". And thats ok. Its good to accept weird but its not good to normalize it. The weirdos dont WANT us to normalize it. The entire reason their doing it specifically to BE weird. If we keep normalizing weirdness, thw weirdos will keep pushing the boundary to be weird and then we'll have to normalize THAT, and its a never ending downward spiral and the end result is a society that celebrates teenage girls cutting their healthy breasts off and male rapists in female prisons. Ppl should be free to be weird, and the rest of us should to be free to think them weird for it. Its actually very important that we do.
Men should be able to wear dresses without it being weird. We did it for women with pants. Let's do it for men and dresses.

Geneva Conventions: If you use human shields to protect military resources, and your enemy kills those human shields in the process of attacking your military resources, YOU committed the war crime, not your enemy.
A lot of people say this because it's really easy and "powerful" to say while taking the situation completely out of its own context. The context provides that nearly every child who died in Gaza as a result of military action by Israel was killed by Hamas, not Israel. The simple fact, as David is ultimately replying to here, is that Hamas and the Gazans created a deliberately impossible situation for the Israelis by being willing to use, and using, human shields, including children, who sometimes became casualties despite Israel's absolutely best efforts to avoid any such outcome. Hamas did this in Gaza for the same two reasons I outlined in the original post: (1) to create a deterrence against Israel striking back against their military installations while they, themselves, continued military operations against Israel, including innocent civilians, by committing war crimes by using innocents, children, babies, hostages, schools, hospitals, UN "peacekeeping" installations, and houses of worship (including mosques and churches) as shields for their military operations. We just saw a viral video, in fact, of a child carrying weapons for an adult so that Israel could not stop the weapons transfer (and didn't). Hamas put those children up to that and thereby put their lives at risk, sometimes mortally. (2) to create propaganda that David here is pushing about the evils of war and war casualties, which include some children who were put by Hamas into the path of danger, not taken out of it, and who lost their lives as a result. That is, Hamas used the lives of children specifically as an opportunity to produce the propaganda that David is eagerly repeating. It's almost impossible to understand how sick these actions are by Hamas. They are, in fact, heinous war crimes that only evade prosecution because of the unbelievable moral inversion of almost everyone who contacts this issue and its grotesque propaganda. Basically, it is simply so evil that normal people cannot believe that Hamas and the Gazans would do it, so they don't. Well, that and wanting to keep certain moneys flowing, probably. So, while nobody is advocating for the killing of kids, as in literally nobody, Hamas is arranging directly for the killing of kids, even as Israel takes incredible pains to avoid doing it, even when the kids are made the mules and actors for military engagement against them. Again, the restraint shown by Israel is perhaps unique in the history of warfare and should be regarded with awe and some degree of reverence, so it is, of course, inverted by this evil propaganda. Shame on you, Dave, for your willing participation in it. Maybe you don't understand the pains Israel has taken to avoid creating such casualties. Aside from sending aid to Gaza even while they were at war with it--aid which Hamas stole and withheld mostly to increase the suffering and radicalization of their own people and to produce more evil propaganda about conditions--Israel has repeatedly demonstrated its unwillingness to target children, particularly ones who aren't pointing guns at them screaming for their deaths. See, Hamas radicalizes children to be militants as well. I don't believe the children understand what they are doing, but the weapons they fire and bullets that come from them don't care that a child pulled the trigger and kill their targets just the same. Israelis have died for holding to this principle, whatever your propaganda has told you. It might interest you that Gaza had a remarkably young population in 2023 when this started, with close to 47% of its population under 18. A significant number of these were trained by Hamas as young as 13, peaking at 15, in these military training camps. Many joined Hamas, especially after the first wave of fighting, and a high proportion of the "child casualties" in Gaza in this war constitute active Hamas combatants between the ages of 15 and 17, peaking at age 16. That is, they are teenagers trained to be warriors and sent to war. That fact is confirmed by the fact that in under-18 casualties (as reported from within Gaza), the vast majority of older teenager deaths are males, while the smaller proportion of under-12 casualties display an even sex ratio. This is consistent with the unfortunate realities of collateral damage in warfare, which Israel took tremendous pains to minimize (and did so successfully). There is absolutely no evidence that Israel has any systematic program for targeting children, but collateral casualties are a fact of warfare. Understanding culpability in each individual case can be complex and difficult, as not even Jews are perfect or perfectly moral all the time, but weighing on the whole affair is the question of who started this war to begin with? Propaganda tries to pin it on Israel for existing and surviving, but any sober and reasonable assessment places that blame squarely on Hamas and only on Hamas, and not just for the unequivocal declaration of war they made with unbelievably horrific violence on October 7, 2023, which did include deliberately targeting innocent civilians, including children and babies, in ways that far exceed even the violences of war, gleefully broadcast for the world to see. Before we digress further, let's regain the plot. This part is important. Israel has gone out of its way in virtually all of its wars in the last several years, if not longer, to give ample warning to civilians in the areas it will strike so that they have time to clear out. Do you understand this? They're telling their enemies where they will hit before they hit, on purpose, as foolish as that is in warfare, in order to minimize civilian casualties, including especially children. Hamas responds to this by moving militant combatants out and civilians in, committing a war crime in the process, in order to get Israel to desist, which it sometimes has but hasn't always. I need you to understand that Hamas killed those people, not Israel. This is very simple to understand, so give it a try. Hamas deliberately used Israel's casualties-minimizing activities, which are strongly warfare-unstrategic, as a method to increase civilian casualties in Gaza. The most amazing part is that Israel's effort in this regard has still worked. Israel has still managed the lowest civilian casualty ratio in the history of urban warfare. Of course, all of this is also with the deck stacked even more firmly against them because Hamas deliberately integrated its military infrastructure throughout Gaza's civilian infrastructure. The key word in that sentence is "deliberately." Hamas made civilian infrastructure into targets and its inhabitants into casualties by doing these things. In case you're a bit slow, what I am saying is that every reasonable and moral person understands clearly that Hamas is morally culpable for this, not Israel. So, I guess, in short, to finish my thorough reply to your six-word propaganda post (in which you couldn't even get all six words right), while nothing is done perfectly, perhaps especially in warfare, the overwhelming majority of child casualties in Gaza are the direct result of Hamas preparing their deaths, sometimes directly and mostly by committing war crimes through their circumstances. That is, in the overwhelming majority of cases, Hamas killed those kids, not Israel. Hamas. That's Hamas with the overwhelming support of the Gazans they govern and the twisted world that cannot see this issue clearly because of the evils of Hamas and its allies along with rivers of dirty money and wicked geopolitics. That's the network of culpability whose buck stops at... Hamas murdered Gaza's own children and used them and their deaths both as weapons and tools of propaganda in one of the most twisted circumstances of human history. You, David Cavallo, "Daveinthenorth2," got up this Tuesday morning and decided to be on the absolutely wrong side of this, but you have the opportunity to see things more clearly and make the necessary and decent change. Glad we could clear this up.

Almost all of the posts decrying the collateral damage from this war are justifications for the Geneva Conventions which include stuff like wear uniforms, don’t use civilians as shields, don’t hide weapons and soldiers inside civilian infrastructure. One side of the conflict is in constant violation of these, and the results are catastrophic for the people they pretend to fight for.

I've always found "noble savage" theory to be absurd. A childish fairy tale. There is no evidence to suggest human beings bereft of civilization would be nonviolent. Indeed, civilization can be DEFINED as the effort to move beyond the natural short-sighted aggression of nature.
In 1964, a young University of Michigan anthropologist went to live with a tribe untouched by modernity. What he found destroyed the noble savage myth. Then his own discipline spent the next four decades trying to destroy him for publishing it. 🧵

AMERICANS: If you want to understand diesel prices in 2026, STOP looking at only the last few months. Go back to 2022. 🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia was one of the world's major diesel suppliers. Europe was especially dependent on Russian petroleum products. Under Biden, the U.S. and its allies sanctioned and restricted Russian energy. Europe then had to replace enormous volumes of Russian supply. Where did it turn? 🇺🇸 United States 🇸🇦 Gulf producers 🇮🇳 India 🌍 other global refiners The global energy map changed. America wasn't suddenly importing huge quantities of Russian or Iranian diesel. America actually produces MORE diesel than it consumes. But diesel is globally traded. When Europe desperately needs another barrel, that barrel has a higher international value whether it was refined in Texas, Saudi Arabia, India or Singapore. Eventually the market began adjusting. Then came 2026. Now look at what happened: 🇷🇺 Russian refining/export capacity is under pressure again. 🇺🇦 Ukrainian attacks have disrupted Russian refineries. 🇮🇷 The U.S.-Iran conflict has destabilized the Gulf. 🚢 Shipping and insurance risks increased. 🏭 Gulf refining/export capacity has been disrupted. 📉 U.S. distillate inventories became extremely tight. And remember: this isn't simply about Iranian oil. It's about the GULF. Some of the world's biggest oil producers, refineries and export terminals sit around the Persian Gulf. So when that entire energy corridor becomes unstable, the shock travels through the global market. That's why diesel didn't only spike in America: 🇮🇩 Indonesia +87% 🇲🇾 Malaysia +76% 🇺🇸 USA +72% 🇵🇭 Philippines +67% 🇨🇦 Canada +65% 🇦🇺 Australia +55% 🇿🇦 South Africa +54% 🇳🇿 New Zealand +46% 🇬🇧 UK +38% Different governments. Different energy policies. Different suppliers. Same global shock. Does that mean Biden-era decisions had nothing to do with today's energy architecture? NO. Does it mean Trump administration decisions have no effect today? NO. Government policy matters. But pretending today's diesel spike exists entirely inside America's borders ignores how the petroleum market actually works. The bigger MAGA argument is what happens NEXT. 🇺🇸 The Trump administration's stated strategy is to strengthen domestic energy production while shifting critical supply chains toward the WESTERN HEMISPHERE and trusted partners. 🇺🇸 United States 🇨🇦 Canada 🇲🇽 Mexico 🇻🇪 Venezuela 🌎 Western Hemisphere resources The objective is straightforward: MORE American and hemispheric production. MORE refining and infrastructure. MORE resilient regional supply chains. LESS vulnerability to wars and disruptions thousands of miles away. That transition doesn't happen overnight. Refineries, pipelines, investment, production and trade routes take TIME to adjust. So when you see $6 diesel today, understand the entire chain: Ukraine war → Russian sanctions → global energy trade reorganized → Europe replaced Russian supply → greater dependence on alternative global barrels → Gulf disruption → Russian refinery disruption → tight inventories → diesel shock. Now America is trying to restructure that system again - this time closer to home. You don't have to ignore today's prices. You SHOULD demand results. But understand how we got here, understand what is being changed, and judge the results against the actual strategy. Energy dominance isn't achieved with a slogan. It requires rebuilding the supply chain. 🇺🇸⛽

Hmm... so gas prices are high because we're FINALLY doing something about an asshole terrorist nation that we should've dealt with fifty years ago instead of kicking the can down the road-like all prior administrations-for our kids to deal with once Iran's got nukes... So obviously the solution to these temporarily high gas prices are to vote for the Ban Oil, ACAB/Defund the Police, Trans the Kids, Make Crime Legal, Lindsey is Innocent Because Mercury Was in Retrograde, Ban the Guns, Tax You To Death, Make Sidney Sweeny Wear a Burqa, Suck The Fun Out Of Everything, Mask Mandated Lesbian Bar, Let Your Whole Town Burn Down, Import All The Illegals Possible, Party. And none of this is to say that republicans are good. No. Most of them suck. But at least they aren't belligerent meddling assholes who want to destroy me and everything I love. If the republicans weren't such bum ass bums we wouldn't be having this discussion before mid terms, but I'll take corrupt bums over totalitarian control freak rainbow communism any day. America can't have nice things because too many of us are dumb.
