From the same guy who said android was a waste of time a and money for google - you need to take all this opinions with a pinch of salt… we all are figuring this out
"User interfaces are largely going to go away. Because the agents speak English, or other languages. You can talk to them. You can say what you want. The UI can be generated. So I can say, generate me a set of buttons that allows me to solve this problem, and it's generated for you." - Eric Schmidt is the former CEO of Google. Today’s websites are designed for humans, with carefully crafted UIs. But we are probably moving towards UI-less web. automated bot traffic has already surpassed human activity on the web. with AI agents, this number will explode. In near future its very plausible that 90% or more of web traffic will be non-human. Imagine a web with no websites. All your favorite apps are now just databases, queried for information by agents that zip around on your behest. In a world primarily composed of bots, what happens to websites? Do agents learn to navigate them like a human? Do they go away entirely? 🤔 --- Video from 'Peter H. Diamandis' YT channel

Currently agentic building is a job about telling agents to remember things. Either you do it by memory or create a system for it but it feels like context management is the missing piece.

Work quality is not elevated to the AI model capacity, it’s lowered to the laziest human intervention. - AI slop is slop not because it’s generated by AI, is slop because humans don’t get involved enough.

Can we say multitasking now include layering agents and tasks? I have codex helping me drive a local wrapper we created to extract and classify law decrees from the gob site. - it’s really good to plan and orchestrate things, @OpenAI made an incredible job And I have Claude helping me create content and animations for my site. @AnthropicAI is still the king in visuals… opus 5 baby. And I have the figma agent also creating proposals for a new feature on the app. I’m not convinced about the shaders, tbh haven’t figures them out yet, but the agent is super helpful to organize and conceptualize.

Ok my timeline and interactions feel like before the mutuals update… it turns out people like the dopamine of viral posts… But personally I’ve seen way more bots interacting with my comments… it has always been there but now is even more. Anyone else seeing changes in their interaction ?

One of the biggest misconceptions of Intelligence (human or artificial) is that it’s a one shot magical moment. in reality is always a process of discovery and iteration.

Design has always been about making users feel at home, like if they already knew how to walk through your product intuitively. With scontrino.ai the goal was to make it as seamless as possible for users to send easily receipts to accountants, and for accountants to be able to filter, group and find them with ease. We decided to build integrations with @WhatsApp and create custom inboxes with @awscloud users can forward any receipts they get. The final design is a system super lightweight, with as few surfaces as possible. Being deliberately simple allow us to focus on the whole experience and make sure each interaction felt expedite and clear.

Monday so far: Had an emergency call regarding one of out clients and accounting best practices in @Odoo - silver lining it’s super important to make sure staff is up to date with changes and understand each module, never delegate coaching even if the client insist in doing it themselves. Built a new services page for my agency with codex…er ChatGPT.. or whatever calls it now @OpenAI Send some quotations Push hard on a personal project to build the ultimate thinking and writing platform, been using @vercel agent SDK and it’s pretty cool what you get pre packaged. Did some handyman stuff at home.

I have a client that really struggles with tech, I’m not talking about complex setups, just the basic common sense stuff. But they are crushing it and are inundated with tasks and pending items that pile from here to the moon. We have created custom interfaces, agents and user guides… and it helps but they are still struggling. We are using like 20% of the built features because they need to first nail down the basics.

We helped Aurumlex.io launch a study platform for lawyers. this is what we learned: -Trust comes in different shapes and sizes XL. The platform is targeted to professionals, sot their quality bar is way higher than normal users, one misplaced statement or doubtful claim and the whole value perception is wrecked. We learned that we can design from humbleness and accept when we are not sure, but still provide value. - also create spaces where they can leave feedback, at the end of the day, they have valuable experience also that ideally we can catch. -Time-to-magic is what defines success. No matter how well you communicate or showcase features, you need to get users closer to the actual flow and let them experience the core actions ( that should be aligned with the problem or value you are giving) - or metrics improved a lot once we started reducing the time it took them to actually start studying, then its a matter of how to make them continue and start capturing their details and setting up their account. -Create content based on events. once you start seeing what are the most repeated events and actions start creating content to educate on the platform, the features, or in our case since we can see what topics they were more interested in studying then it was about doubling down on them. measure everything, use the information to drive content.

This. Not only they look the same, they also sound the same… that why I built howaiseesmysite.com/big-word… There’s a lot of regurgitation of the same words and ideas, AI should have helped us expand creativity, but it has just expanded average experiences.
I think you have to do something radically different as a landing page or app to even get anyone to use something these days as AI has made every landing page or app look the exact same

Let’s be honest… even before AI devs copied sketchy code from stack overflow and shady websites without reading the code… why is everybody complaining now of agentic loops, tokenmaxxxing and all the Ai slop code that they are not reading in the PRs ? It’s basically the same.

Somewhere a bunch of people are wishing they were using your product… What are you building?

Abstraction is Earned. Words are easy to say specially nowadays with AI, but sometimes they carry big weights with them, the weight of abstraction, the weight of generalization and ambiguity. Each company and niche is different but many times startups can't afford to be abstract. When your'e starting you need to be unapologetically clear and focused, its the only way your value will be understood. A lot of projects I see they are trying to be perceived as bigger or with more depth, but the reality is that simplicity always win. We as dreamers and futurist often pick words that sound good, but wont fit our stage.

As part of my explorations around SEO and AEO I've built howaiseesmysite.com/big-word… as a fun way to reflect on the names and concepts im putting out, also as a tool to roast a bit friends that are also launching too abstract things. take a look and see if your project is talking with words sized to its stage.

What I built today: ⚡️Landing page for “how big do you sound” (a polemic landing page analyzer to catch Ai slop) - will wrap the SEO score from @ahrefs api tomorrow and launch the site live. 🚀email notification admin platform for aurumlex (a law study platform) connected @resend API and send the first weekly challenge to the first batch of students. Will build the engagement and gamification engine this week to capture user streaks and motivate them to continue studying.. 😎created a social media template builder with @puckeditor im super pumped by it’s flexibility and now I’m going to teach Claude how to transform my ideas into JSON blobs I can paste into the editor. Overall not a bad day but need to get my social media game on point fast. Will make more improvements to the flow.

People cheer for other people not institutions. This World Cup has shown how powerful personality is. Cape Verde, Vozinha, Norway and Haaland all have build bigger than life personalities, with ups and downs but playing with passion it transcends sportsmanship and it’s more about life, goals (the ones you achieve, not the ones you score) and doing things you care about and having fun along the way. Social media is all about posting a bigger and more perfect version of ourselves, but that perfection comes with the cost of losing authenticity and missing connections. We need to stop projecting ourselves as curated institutions and more like normal people.
One thing to do today… search my name on Google 😉
