The xmr/zec argument makes no sense to me they are both ~10B+ market cap assets and both have been live/tradable for many years. I have bought some pearl, that said I’m more bullish on nock and using pearl as a hedge on my nock bag. These things will move violently (and in both directions) way too early to tell who wins in the end. That said, I like @loganallc vision and relentless work ethic. I actually think you are completely wrong that they won’t trade well alongside each other. (Maybe not in the same daily candles) but nock pulled a 5x off the lows while pearl was chopping 2 weeks ago, and now pearl is ripping w nock chopping etc. There is very little liquidity for both coins rn and I expect them both to continue to re-rate higher alongside each other. Competition is good. Also for your xmr/zec example, for many years it looked like xmr was the winner of privacy. So if pearl has a higher mcap now who tf cares. This is a multi-cycle play, if we are correct on the thesis. FWIW I agree that Zec has rewritten the rules of crypto investing and investing in crypto as money is imo, one the ways to truly outperform this cycle. Lastly, I respect pearl holders being on the front line of PoUW as an investable category. Anyways, Nock to multi billions. Cheers

when i first joined amber's vc team, i used to overly care about the "tech". i would get so involved in it, akin to someone caring about rare traits on a nft or something. i think any other vc analyst would agree if they ever bull posted the "modular chain thesis". i had the opportunity to watch a lot of projects launch. their pre-tge plans, and how it played out post-tge. most project's token performance did not live up to expectations. its not that the tech was bad, it was that the token was set up to fail due to predatory token allocations. however if you purely optimized for the tech and not the token dynamics, you lost! right now to me, only 2 things matter. proof of work coins and memecoins. both can truly be fair, with no predatory supply overhang. however, both can also be unfair. trenchers know this when a coin is bundled. i think the same is true for proof of work, you always need to ask yourself is this game im playing fair? when i see a project that does it "right", or atleast, what i would do myself if i launched a coin, i get interested.

Bend 2 is here! It is a new programming language that blocks AI mistakes via *proof checking* - the same technique big AI labs used to solve open math problems, like Navier-Stokes. It is also very fast, and runs on GPUs. Watch the video. Link in the comments.
RELEASE DAY After almost 10 years of hard work, tireless research, and a dive deep into the kernels of computer science, I finally realized a dream: running a high-level language on GPUs. And I'm giving it to the world! Bend compiles modern programming features, including: - Lambdas with full closure support - Unrestricted recursion and loops - Fast object allocations of all kinds - Folds, ADTs, continuations and much more To HVM2, a new runtime capable of spreading that workload across 1000's of cores, in a thread-safe, low-overhead fashion. As a result, we finally have a true high-level language that runs natively on GPUs! Here's a quick demo:

let me start by saying $PRL and base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722 are both coins operating in the correct narrative. if you know about either of these coins, congrats! you should make money. HOWEVER, i truly believe that this picture below is a reason why one coin has captured my attention and other's attention more than the other. everyone knows supply overhang from VC's is bad. but how about supply overhang from miners? the main difference is that miners unlike VCs will always insta dump in order to pay operational costs. these coins have no way to hedge on perps. the miners are just straight up dumping them. one of these coins has already dealt with miners dumping aggressively, thanks to a initial steeper mining curve and purely just by existing longe. the other will has to still face it.

Could’ve just replied to the article lol. I'm always happy to take the reputational risk sharing a thesis publicly. The good news is we’ll find out.

What if base:0x9b5e262cf9bb04869ab40b19af91d2dc85761722 has a run like zcash:native had Lower market cap so can actually go up a lot, strong narrative on proofs and privacy Seems possible once it gets momentum

im writing a report on programmable privacy. i realized comparing projects is sort of dumb. for example, a nockapp on @nockchain will have private txs, but probably still wants FHE from @octra when users need to compute over each other's private data report soon

some crypto people faded prediction markets because "they arent really a blockchain thing" but you need to understand perps are a blockchain thing and perps will be wildly important to any prediction market achieving leverage
