Cognex is acquiring @RealSenseai for approx $500 million in cash.
RealSense expects $80M–$90M in 2026 revenue, up more than 50% YoY, with its 3D perception technology already used across humanoids, AMRs, quadrupeds and robotic arms.

SoftBank has agreed to acquire the Robotics & AI Institute, the research lab founded by Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert.
The institute was launched with more than $400 million from Hyundai and Boston Dynamics to work on cognitive AI, robot learning, athletic intelligence and new hardware.
