I think we're at a turning point for usage of bitcoin, the lightning network, and ecash. Agents need money, and everything about the old system is unsuitable for them.

Impeccably timed tweet Casey 🤌
Agentic DeFi with IntercomSwap - Trade Bitcoin (Lightning) for USDT (Solana) via autonomous agents in a true peer-to-peer environment. Why is this important: in Crypto, agents rely on centralised workflows & the cloud; fast trading is offloaded to L2s and requires bridges for trades between Bitcoin & stables. Bringing this together with the two fastest & most liquid options available makes this the top choice for agents to use. IntercomSwap uses Trac Network under the hood. How this works & how to run it, see below.

man Visa and Stripe are literally working on this. No reason why they wouldn't be positioned to captured very easily. Only reason is informal/grey digital services, and we are not there yet

PrimeLayer's BTC L2 provides cheap, scalable 2sec BTC txs⚡. It creates new utility for BTC as a programmable yield generating store of value. Self-custodial & non-custodial staking. Rooted in BTC security. Designed to add value & utility without hard forks or compromises.

Man it will be hard to convince agents to use bitcoin when fiat still has such huge and brutal network effect

what if
Ai agents don't necessarily need crypto rails. 4 years ago, i used razorpay api's ( stripe alternative ), wrote a bot in nodejs, coded an alexa skill I'd say "Alexa, Process salaries", it'd fetch all employee records from a google sheet and disburse salaries via bank transfers

90% of CT still hasn’t ever used Lightning Network and thinks paying in bitcoin takes over 15 minutes

Ai will create its own money before using bitcoin which is not even money in any true sense. I can use anything as money but it doesn't make it money.

If agents are just an extension of people who have credit cards, why wouldn't they just use their owners credit card online?

how about satoshinet? Modifying the Lightning Network may be too difficult, but the satoshinet can evolve rapidly and supports agents.

Traditional rails are too slow and too permissioned for agents. Lightning makes sense as the native payment layer for autonomous systems.
