Still running Instinct for enrichment. Adding Muse to the test this week. Smartlead subscription is live, so sending is no longer the bottleneck. The stack keeps shifting. The one thing that does not is the thinking behind it.

My garage door broke. I put Muse & Instinct on it. -Surprisingly they both found the same 3 names & quotes -Instinct was able to email & negotiate -Muse couldn’t negotiate but made calls which was a game changer Small businesses need to be optimized for agent discovery. Are you working on that?
This phone call feature from @Muse is just ridiculous.

Switched the stack to Instinct for enrichment and sending. First run and it already does in one pass what took me three tools last month. The machine keeps getting smaller. The judgment stays mine.

Cosigning people is the lifeblood of Silicon Valley. You find someone, vouch for them, and then it opens up a world of possibility. It's central to New Media which behind the scenes is built on people who trust each other and read/follow their content. Productizing it makes so much sense since a lot of this network lives in the public domain. Excited to use this product to build the HAA network!!
Excited to introduce @Cosign: the curated professional network for the startup community: cosign.co Our goal is to create the following: - A comprehensive startup directory of investors, companies, and operators, including what they worked on and who they worked on it with. - Cosign graph: Who shaped your career? Who were you actually in the trenches with? Who would work with you again? Who thinks you’re someone to watch? - Durable reputation: Great endorsements happen every day on X and disappear into the feed. Cosign attaches those signals permanently to people and companies. - Discovery: Who are the best fintech angels? Which AI companies should I watch? Who are the best designers? - Intent network: Privately signal “I’d invest in them,” “I’d hire them,” “I’d work with them,” or eventually even “I’d acquire this company.” Match people when interest exists on both sides. Imagine if Wikipedia, LinkedIn, and OG AngelList had a baby. Though Cosign is a community, not a business. In order to join, you need to be cosigned. Or you can apply directly. David Booth and I started this idea 7 years ago but didn’t have the firepower to make it work. Now we do. No one has really touched LinkedIn in 20 years. Excited to take a swing. cosign.co

Remember: It is uncomfortable to put yourself out there and go interview for a job that you want but might not be fully ready for yet. It is uncomfortable to walk up to the attractive person at the bar and introduce yourself. It is uncomfortable to take the risk to start a new business. It is uncomfortable to make your first hire. It is uncomfortable to stick with it for years even when times get tough. None of this stuff is fun. None of it is easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it and everyone would be wealthy, have a great partner, and own a phenomenal business that they love. Do not ignore the discomfort. Embrace it. Realize that it's par for the course. It's to be expected and it's a good thing. The more comfortable you can get with being uncomfortable, the better off your life will be.

The gap between "I had that idea" and "I built that business" is about 10,000 hours of work nobody wanted to do.

Most RevOps automation starts wrong. It asks what to automate before asking what the system should classify. Fit. Readiness. Both. Neither. Define the buckets first. The tools did not change. The instructions did.

Terminal outbound 62% opens, still no replies. Running new-hire as my signal. Starting to think the signal is too generic. Every tool fires on new-hire, so the prospect has seen ten of these. Rethinking which trigger to use.
