Why does my "For you" feed become sloppy design screenshots and engagement-boosting posts like: "If AI does this, what will you do?"

I'm starting to think my English writing is mostly inspired by LLMs, because I didn't read much English before the AI era I believe in the next 10 years we'll see a generation that writes like LLMs: - Hi - Hi, how can we collaborate today?

Sonnet really nuts

Sonnet 5.5 is not bad at pelicans

Another really cool Jev app: Grammar killer. You can just use it for $0.01 for a hundred of requests! github.com/Ffinnis/jev-gramm…

Unironically Jev is really cool. I just created an almost-free open-source grammar killer

Why is nobody talking about hemmingway-1? Open source 27B model that writes like a real human! Cracks eqbench for its size, on par with giants like Fable 5

GPT and Claude are genuinely bad at trip planning. Ask one to plan your week in Lisbon and you get a confident brochure written from 2019 data. Closed restaurants. Walking routes through construction zones. Bus schedules that don't exist anymore. Lovable cracked web dev because the feedback loop is clean: generate code, run it, it compiles or it doesn't. Travel has no test suite. "Is this a good Thursday for me" can't be verified in CI. Nobody's built the Lovable for trips yet. The hard part was never the UI. It's the real-time data plumbing across flights, hotels, transit and restaurants that don't have APIs. Anyone working on this?

Last two weeks my feed has been full of macOS utilities people built and now sell for $5-10 each. And honestly, I don't get it. Would you pay $5 for a better Activity Monitor? I wouldn't. Not because it's bad or useless, but because today you can build one yourself in a few hours with your AI subscription. You make it exactly the way you want, and if you open-source it, other people can make it even better. A good example of this is Vorssaint, a free, open-source bundle of genuinely useful tools for Mac users. So I built two of my own. OpenDoc is a replacement for the macOS Dock with custom widgets, folders and a lot more things you've probably wanted your Dock to do. OpenActivity is a better Activity Monitor, built to make monitoring your Mac simpler. Both are native, written in Swift, and fully open source. Stars, issues and PRs are welcome.

OpenDoc looks even better now I added better visuals for widgets with usage limits, refined some animations, and polished a few UI details

I'd love to use Opus 5.5, but the 5-hour limits are just too restrictive for me. I honestly can't imagine living with that. OpenAI is much better in this regard

Just deleted CodexBar because OpenDoc supports showing usage limits right in the MacOS dock

OpenDoc widgets can now run any Node.js script I wrote 20 lines to show my Claude and Codex usage limits right in the Dock. No more opening dashboards to check if I'm about to hit the cap

All .5 Antropic release are goated, I'm so excited with Opus 5.5 and I'm scared of Fable☠️

Yeah, someone just dead openai sorry, I move to antropic

Just stop bullying us please with double releases @OpenAI @claudeai

Saw a paid Mac dock app and decided to build an open-source alternative OpenDoc puts app folders, timers and notes in your dock. You can have separate docks for work and everything else AI helped me build it. Now you can take it apart and make it yours

Something weird is happening with Codex usage limits. Multiple people are reporting that their weekly usage suddenly dropped to 0%, even though they had plenty left. Did this happen to anyone else? @thsottiaux Please give us a reset.
