Hi @SriramNWAY @bindusub @AmbiSub Maybe a collab? :)

Moradabad and Bijnor have become an unlikely location for one of the best systemic improvements in higher education in India. This is happening by one of the main academic picks of @myogiadityanath. I don't think the BJP government (state or center) knows about it and is not promoting the innovations in education and examination that Guru Jambeshewar University in Moradabad has done. Supported by bureaucracy, technocracy and market, it should be scaled across the country. Prof Sachin Maheshwari has shown what it means to take on the education mafia in a serious but kind manner. Honesty, integrity and probity are important and underutilized as a weapon to solve public problems.

Hi @Mayawati, @SangmaConrad, @ArvindKejriwal and @Dipankar_cpiml, You have hyperlocal, local and/or disaggregated support across the board on some idea, place, time, circumstance or issue. If you want a significant presence in the Indian mainland, here are different 10 ideas that you can implement in the regions (as a party through market or society or as a government through the state) under your control and publicize them everywhere. It can cement and scale your politics and policy. 1. Land Value Taxes/Georgism: Lars Doucet 2. Regenerative industry from urban and rural waste 3. Proportional Representation (instead of FPTP) 4. Universal school lunch + breakfast, locally procured from FPOs with proteins and millets. 5. One-page registration, zero-inspection for first time entrepreneurs 6. Public transport fare-capped and frequency-guaranteed 7. Open-by-default government data 8. Conclusive land titling + fully open land records 9. Directly elected, empowered mayors 10. Abolish FSI/FAR caps and legalize the informal economy — zoning liberalization for housing supply, vending zones and licences for street vendors. Happy Dussehra!

Hi @RahulGandhi, you can be the Tim Gowers/Terry Tao of public problem solving if you take up plurality and pluralism as your approach to public problem solving in society. You can change the game from closed source to open source, and competitive to collaborative. You can change the game for India on multiple fronts. You bringing women and girls to speak on stage will be an important event in Indian political history. gowers.wordpress.com/2009/01… polymathprojects.org India has partisan governance which is negative for people which can be broken only if one of the six national parties decides to work between political parties for the long haul. It also allows for better politicians to emanate to the top in each political party. Truth be told, this is an important and potentially useful proposition for @SangmaConrad, @Dipankar_cpiml, @ArvindKejriwal or @Mayawati as well but it suits your politics and governance plans the most. Plurality in public problem solving (like @audreyt, @glenweyl, @VitalikButerin) and pluralism (like Ramakrishna :D) go hand in hand for with subsidiarity, federalism, cooperation which works well for your approach towards building a truly New India. You are continuously inducting only lawyers, social scientists and political leftists and missing out on a whole host of young people doing arts, humanities, natural science, formal science and applied science who could be part of your institution or collaborate with you in some form or the other. I hope you consider some new ways of engaging with people, and some new people to engage with as well. Otherwise novel movements will keep taking people away who want to work on a good idea for India. Also, please embrace Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma deeply and lovingly through art, culture, tradition, philosophy, poetry, dance, music and more. India needs to break away from the mindset of being Macaluayputra. The politics of Hindutva is sickening. India's beauty and unity in diversity is not.

Hi @narendramodi, you can turn these protests around, complete the next election cycle successfully, hand over power to @AmitShah, not upset @RSSorg plans and allow for H-D-Y to compete.. All you need to do is to respect students and women, and work with them accordingly.

Work with opposition to keep rabid elements who can only flag problems but don't have solutions at bay. Working publicly and showing high quality work will outflank the political opposition too and create genuine goodwill with people. Work is worship. Do it. Best wishes.

A spiritual conclusion is valid only when it rests on scripture (Sruti), reason (Yukti) and personal experience (Svanubhuti).

Four cardinal principles of Hinduism: 1. Non-duality of the Godhead. Brahman is beyond time, space and causality, and is the bridge between the visible and invisible 2. Divinity of the soul. When the jiva’s ignorance is destroyed, it enters “the realm of light, freedom, knowledge and reality” 3. Unity of existence. One spirit pervades everything, “from the highest evolved being to a blade of grass" 4. Harmony of religions. The one formless Brahman is worshipped as a personal God by Hindus, Jews, Christians and Muslims under different names. Rig Veda’s “Reality is One, the learned speak of It in many ways” (p. 32).

Hi @KanwalSibal, You are the Chancellor of JNU. Not a spokesperson of a political party or government. You have allowed Professor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit to remain Vice Chancellor. She has a fraudulent PhD, several copied papers and indulges in moral, financial and intellectual corruption regularly. You have stood by doing nothing and waving your hands. I know it's hard for many diplomats to let go of a good house, many servants and cars on the government's dime. Instead of attempting to be all posh and sounding stupid on Twitter, how about going about doing your job? India and Hinduism is a civilization and philosophy. It is not a party office with ugly men with big egos.
Astonishing post. Wants India to congratulate someone who has a long record of targeting India. Navi Pillay has regularly criticised India on human rights during her tenure as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (2008–2014) She has attacked India on Kashmir and mass graves and disappearances, on AFSPA, on Sexual Violence and New Delhi gang rape(2012), calling for substantial legal and systemic reforms to tackle widespread sexual violence, and Caste and Gender Discrimination (2014) Throughout her tenure, she has has had policy frictions with India on human rights issues. India has officially responded to her attacks. She has also been a judge of the ICC which India does not recognise.. What is the case for congratulating her? Simply because she is of Indian origin?

Everyone wants to have solved a hard problem, but almost nobody wants to live inside the grind of actually solving it. The breakthroughs belong to the few who are obsessed with the process, not just the idea of the outcome
