Absolutely!
But I am not sure how to react to responses such as "Congratulations you won a prize," because I just say how I feel. If what I say means something positive to someone else, that's great. What I say might trigger someone who feels anger and hostility to me. That's not the response I intended, but I am curious to understand that person. If they are a bot, I will know because their response lacks adult logic, is very often misspelled, and words are used out of context, creating a kind of hostile word salad. I can ignore those. But real people with feelings even if their feelings differ from mine interest me.
I don't know how to connect with responses such as "Congratulations You Won a Prize." First of all, I doubt Elon Musk would send me messages like that.
I'm a 72 year old grandmother, someone who worked extremely hard for everything I have now, including emotional freedom and peace of mind. That took YEARS. Prizes? Material things? They only matter if you earned them, and then they are only so meaningful. They can never substitute for love. They can never replace losses one experienced in childhood and growing up: NOTHING can make that pain disappear. A person just has to bear that pain through life until such time as you have perspective on it and realize you aren't the only one who missed a lot.
Eventually I realized though the losses and pain of my growing up and adolescence were painful, there are so many people who had it much worse than me. You realize you can free yourself from it and fill your life with all you can create in the way of love and meaningful relationships and pursuits.
Watching what an Israeli hostage of 491 days went through last night was one of the most difficult experiences: surgery was done on him without anesthesia, he had no idea what happened to his wife or child, he couldn't hear because nearby explosions affected his hearing, he was given one meal a day......it is almost unbearable to imagine what his daily life was like. Surviving that kind of brutality would take a person with a very strong ego, a strong belief in his right to survive, and a strong determination to survive, especially in case his wife was still alive.
This is what it means to experience a holocaust and become a survivor.
Material things can't take away the pain of that brutality or make it any easier to bear life: because to live is to have to find a way to bear that pain without it overwhelming oneself completely.
I am grateful for the "offers," but also I do not even know if the offers are real, so it is confusing. Maybe that is unintended, but I wonder why someone would do that, offer something but not really mean for anything to be offered. Does someone want to see people reach for the bait and end up without anything to show for it? And why should anyone offer something like that in the first place? Maybe it's all just a joke and I should enjoy the joke!
