‼️After logging 189 recent earthquakes of magnitude 5 or greater (M 5+), we have graphed the number quakes vs the time interval between the earthquake and the Moon/Antipode tectonic boundary (center) crossing time. The distribution is also the radio diffraction pattern sent to Earth by the Moon. The Moon diffracts the powerful radio waves generated when the solar wind interacts with Earth's magnetosphere. Will anyone please measure the radio frequencies?!

⚠️So how did Antipode trigger the M 5.3 earthquake at Iceland just 37 minutes after she (Antipode) crossed the tectonic boundary between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate at Baja California? You can't see it on the map, but the boundary of the North American Plate runs up over the top of Canada and comes right down to Greenland and Iceland - a direct route hitherto regarded as classified information by our Lunar Team.

⚠️As her fans cheered, Moon did a knee-slide to celebrate her on-location triggering of two M 5+ earthquakes at Vanuatu just 14 minutes and 21 minutes after her crossing the Western Pacific Rim off Australia. Moon is a true tectonic boundary crossing professional!

❗️⚠️Here are the upcoming tectonic boundary crossings by our Moon and Antipode through early afternoon today (UTC time). Moon already has one foot on the Western Pacific Rim off Australia, however she has not shaken loose any M 5+ earthquakes yet. Alerts (orange and blue) are popping from stations KOU and TUC in the vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, due to be crossed by Antipode at 09:15.

⚠️Our Moon's Antipode wanted this midnight report posted because she was proud of two accomplishments: 1) the substantial jump in the global earthquake rate (blue curve) when she crossed the Philippine Plate boundary to the Eurasian Plate, and 2) her triggering of the M 5.1 earthquake at New Britain, PNG, just 11 minutes after her boundary crossing - pretty accurate in time and location!

⚠️After not having an M 5+ earthquake for 11 hours, it simply took our Moon's Antipode just 15 minutes from crossing the Western Pacific tectonic boundary to shake loose the M 5.3 earthquake at Tonga! All in a day's work for the Lunar Boundary Crossing Team.

‼️Upcoming tectonic boundary crossings by our Moon and Antipode. I think Moon has already gotten her toes wet in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

⚠️Moon and Antipode just filed this report on their last two tectonic boundary crossings. It says "All clear" concerning Magnitude 5+ earthquakes, consistent with the fact that we have not had an M 5+ earthquake in 8 hours. Moon and Antipode now each get a very short rest over Southern Africa and the Mid-Pacific before each jumps on a major tectonic boundary for more inspections.

Nearly all the M 5+ earthquakes I log (at least 80%) come from those four crossings. A crossing does not imply that there will be an M 5+ earthquake - the correct statement is: 60% of all M 5+ earthquakes come from a lunar tectonic boundary crossing - that is much different than saying that any time there is a crossing, there is a 60% chance of an M 5 earthquake.

I guess you and I must read from very different libraries: "ELF/VLF radio waves penetrate deeply beneath the surface of the earth and interact with the geologic structure of the earth."irp.fas.org/program/collect/… "..it may be possible under certain favorable conditions in lithosphere to initiate earthquakes by electromagnetic disturbances in ionosphere." ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/20…

⚠️Moon and Antipode got through their first two tectonic boundary crossings of the morning - the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the Western Pacific Rim. There was only one M 5+ earthquake in the Flores Region of Indonesia, however it was not influenced by the Moon, since the quake occurred almost 2 hours from Moon's crossing of the Pacific Rim.

‼️Upcoming tectonic boundary crossings by Moon and Antipode through midday today. I have noticed that there are only four boundary crossings that dominate magnitude 5+ earthquake occurrences (excludes known aftershocks). You can see the four on the graph below.

⚠️Last report of the day, 2026-10-17, from Moon and Antipode. The Lunar Boundary Crossing Team would like everyone to notice how the two jumps in the global earthquake rate (blue curve) coincide almost exactly with the two pairs of lunar boundary crossings. There have been no new M 5+ earthquakes for the past 10 hours.

Our Moon diffracts to Earth, the radio waves generated when the solar wind interacts with Earth's magnetosphere. When the radio waves penetrate the Earth, they cause additional stress by the reverse piezoelectric effect. The additional seismic stress then propagates along the tectonic plate boundary. If somewhere along the boundary, a fault is close to rupture, the additional stress may push it over the edge.

⚠️❗️Here is the schedule of tectonic plate boundary crossings for our Moon and Antipode for the rest of today. Moon already has her boots on and is waist-deep in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge to meet her center crossing time of 18:09 UTC.

⚠️A couple of things to notice in the latest report I got from our Lunar Tectonic Boundary inspection team: See the jump in the global earthquake rate (blue curve) peaking near 07:42, the time Antipode was crossing the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Kourou station KOU received an alert (dark blue) at 07:40 saying Antipode just came through the turnstile at the Ridge. Moon, just now, seems to have made it through the triple junction between the Australian Plate and the African Plate without causing more trouble for Pakistan. 🤞

⚠️Our Moon pulled off the kind of "trick" shot that I have not seen in quite a while. The M 5.7 earthquake in Pakistan occurred just 15 minutes from Moon crossing the Western Pacific Rim off Australia! I know how she did it - she used the Australian Plate boundary to get to the Indian Plate! Also, if you look at Hyderabad, India station HYB's earlier spectrum, you'll see a warning alert 2 h 20 min before the quake - a very average warning time. Of course, the authorities in India do not believe in magnetic warnings.

⚠️End-of-day report for 2026-10-16. All I can say is Moon was definitely not feeling well today, because for the second time she could not stay within the rules. Just 38 minutes after she crossed the Eastern Pacific Plate boundary we had an M 4.9 earthquake off Chiapas Mexico, within Moon's boundary jurisdiction. Moon knew she should get magnitude 5.0, but she just could not do it.

‼️Here is the tectonic boundary crossing schedule for Moon and Antipode through midday today, 2026-10-17. If no M 5+ earthquake happens on the crossing of YOUR boundary from 1.5 h before crossing to 1.5 h after crossing then you can be 80% sure you will not get an M 5+ earthquake for the next 8 hours.

⚠️I can't believe our Moon had to use an extra 45 minutes over her 1 hour time limit to shake loose the M 5.2 earthquake off the coast of Ecuador. The fault was right there, on her boundary, and not very far from her crossing. She should be ashamed. Station Kourou (KOU), New Guinea, got one warning alert (dark blue) 25 minutes ahead of the earthquake. Does New Guinea ever talk to Ecuador?
