‘GUESSING it was named after the Province or vice-versa.
NOPE!!
Both the Lake & Province name is from an Iroquoian word - KANADARIO - meaning being “beautiful lake/water.

At PRECISELY 8p.m.
The sky to the north, south, east AND west JUST TURNED an ethereal blue-green…
AS IF every television set in Canada suddenly tuned to the same channel…

Big shout-outs to the Town of Wasaga Beach Sewer & Water crew & Andrew from Randy's plumbing for what might been a major issue, plumbing wise.
These PROs-all shut-off, repaired, and returned our water supply in less than one hour.
BTW, I only reached out for help on Monday!!👍👏
