This is notable for Jaxon Kohler, who’s part of the California case that goes to the California state court next week. Recently plaintiffs have been arguing in state courts that the NCAA’s own rules don’t exclude them from a fifth year.
This could turn into a major problem for the NCAA in 5 in 5 cases.
A court who has agreed with the argument that the terms of the NCAA’s new eligibility rule does not explicitly exclude class of 2022 athletes.
Meaning the new rule applies to them and they get a fifth season.

Would’ve been nice to finish strong & have backups play better. But absolutely the right decision to pull starters when BYU did. LJ has missed games in his career. Legend is 175 lbs. You’re playing the long game, & reducing hits on starters is the right thing for what BYU wants to accomplish this season.
