Jr. High coaches traveled to scout using pencil and paper. And wow, when both teams went no huddle and we were scouting in playoffs so had to scout both teams. Crazy fast tempo.
And we had to present report in person each week.
Sending the JV coaches to scout in person at the game. Going to the game to scout with a scout notebook and drawing each play as it happened. Padding isn’t new.
