One thing that stood out in the exhibition against Rutgers was the improved strength and confidence going downhill from Ian Jackson.
Reports were he added some muscle and it showed with multiple runs into the lane and finishing through contact with balance. Where as last season you saw a lot of off-balance circus shots when he was trying to attack a defender.
BIG improvement showed in the Rutgers game, let’s see if that continues against #7 Texas this Sunday! #SJUBB x.com/StJohnsBBall/status/21…

Slight update in Keyshawn Hall case. NCAA sent letter to judge, claiming Hall signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Heat. His attorney responded with proof he had not, including a letter from the Heat. Decision on his injunction can come at any time. #sjubb

We’re getting Johnnies After Dark during Thanksgiving week
An official Players Era 16 bracket:
Pretty insane there’s a chance for St. John’s to play at 6:00pm PT on Thursday and then have to play again at 10:00am PT on Friday
(Somebody will have to do it between Texas Tech, Oregon, St. John’s, and Louisville)

RJ Luis won’t play at LSU after all. Shocker.
Lots of LSU news to share. First: RJ Luis will NOT be cleared to play by the SEC and LSU has given up its fight for him to be eligible, sources told @CBSSports. Luis would be in violation of the SEC's rule that prevents players returning to college after signing a pro contract.
