Oh my, a guy was *seriously* expecting unit tests to cover integration and system bugs. It will be shock for him to find out what unit tests are about.
Debugger is highly important for multithreaded game development. Hardest race conditions corrupt data once in 10000 tries. Would be impossible to find and analyze bugs like that without a good debugger. Unit tests don't help at all with such bugs.
