Crush Depth is out today! It's a deep-sea technothriller - think The Hunt for Red October meets Jurassic Park. I've been working on it for a while and I'm incredibly proud of the result. Go check it out! amazon.com/Crush-Depth-Techn…

Yeah, Astra is pretty powerful. Can't wait until I get it at work and can start throwing it at some old ICDs....

I think I'm going to revamp my website from scratch. It's not doing what I need it to do and I don't think it helps with sales or reads at all. But it's probably a multi-week project...

Two thousand years ago, someone carried a sheet of Appalachian mica more than 400 miles into Ohio, cut it into a human hand nearly a foot tall, then buried it inside a mound.

Kids are asleep and not only did I fix some big logic gaps (and made the "epilogue" chapters two instead of one), I got over the 32,000 word count, so that's cool.
Wrote about a thousand words today in bits and pieces but I realized that I have some downstream issues - I've gotten away from my ancestral memories concept (liberally taken from Assassin's Creed) too much. Not going to erase anything but I'm going to need to fix my outline...

A problem with Andor fans is that they think Star Wars is only a gritty political drama but in reality it’s a sci-fi fantasy where some of its cast can go on some random bullshit adventure

Would play that in a heartbeat.
Imagine the next Halo game opens exactly where Halo 3 ended. Master Chief floats through space. “Wake me… when you need me.” Cut to black. Then we see Cortana’s memories....Halo 4. Halo 5. Infinite. Everything that came after Halo 3… distorted, fragmented, escalating into a horrifying dream. Suddenly... Cortana wakes. She looks around. Silence. None of it happened. It was all just a nightmare buried inside her neural matrix… the way a human mind can turn its fears into dreams. Then we hear: “Chief… I need you.” And the pod opens. HALO IS BACK.

I got rear ended while I was sitting at this light back in 2021. One of the scariest intersections in Loudoun County - there's always an accident there.
A U.S. Park Police motor sergeant was struck by a vehicle in Loudoun County, VA around 2pm on Route 50 in the area of Dulles West Boulevard & Loudoun County Parkway. The involved vehicle remained on scene, and the investigation is being conducted by the Loudon County Sheriff's Office. The officer was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. #USPP
