Mali - Final report on the battles of April 25-26 So, yesterday in the afternoon, after negotiations with the Tuaregs, our units of the "African Corps", without allowing the enemy to take a single of our positions by force & in view of the already started political negotiations (which, in my opinion, should have been conducted long ago), under orders, a large column left Kidal. Moreover, along with the fighters of the "AK" (about 200 people), about a 100 soldiers of the Malian army also left with us. We also took with us (without leaving it to the enemy) all the serviceable heavy equipment & ammunition & our dead. Thus, it is precisely this, largely symbolic act, that puts an end to the battles of April 25-26. Which, perhaps, will be the starting point for a future political settlement in the country. Since simultaneously with the withdrawal of troops from Kidal, local Tuareg groups (marked in green on the map) suspended their military actions against the central authorities. The decision in the current situation is absolutely justified & the only correct one. If the negotiations are successful for the Tuaregs & they receive broad autonomy in the north of Mali & one of the most important internal fronts of the civil war in the country disappears. Which will allow us to further eliminate radical Islamist groups & end the war altogether. However, personally, I would prefer the first option. And here's why. Above, we presented a general map of the large civil war in the territories of 3 countries of the "Russian zone of responsibility" (Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger), which is not 3 separate wars, but 1. On it, we see that in addition to the Tuaregs supporting an independent (or autonomous) Azawad (again, marked in green), the governments of these countries have 2 more important headaches. With which there is simply nothing to negotiate. These are radical Islamists from the Sahelian ISIS (marked in black on the map) and the Malian branch of Al-Qaeda - "Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin" (both are considered terrorists in Russia). The latter are marked in white on the map. And it's clear that having militant Tuaregs in the rear, who, moreover, have long wanted to negotiate, is simply stupid. At the same time, it's noteworthy that during the battles of April 25-26 in the Gao and Bourem regions, which were simultaneously attacked from all sides by Islamic radicals, local Tuaregs (marked in yellow on the map) fought alongside the government army and helped repel this attack. That is, the basis for an agreement with the northern Tuaregs is definitely there and today it's just an ideal chance to conclude an agreement and start a joint war against the radicals. Who are enemies to everyone else. And therefore, no one is being polite with them either yesterday or today, and they, taking advantage of the defeat of the day before yesterday, continue to be cleared in as large a number as possible (so that it will be easier to finish them off in the future). It's noteworthy that mercenaries from Ukraine are fighting alongside these terrorists in Africa. Although this doesn't surprise anyone anymore, since the owners of both are the same Anglo-Saxon elites. And Ukrainians and Islamic radicals are just expendable material for them. Such is the situation in Mali now at the end of two days of battles. In fact, if their results are used correctly, it's possible to solve the whole problem once and for all. And therefore, I very much hope for this result. Furthermore, in these battles, our guys from the "African Corps" have already received a full-fledged baptism of fire and showed that they are the main military force of the region. Determining its future... Further more in detail on the situation in Mali & not only, I traditionally recommend the channel "African Initiative" in Telegram (whose journalists work in the region and who were able to understand the situation for me): "African Initiative in Telegram" t.me/africaninitiative
France's strategic counteroffensive in Africa ended in failure... Today, the most powerful attempt to oust us from MALI took place. This is a strategically important country for us (and the enemy respectively) in western Africa and one of our main outposts in this part of the continent. It was here that our victorious march on the continent began. And therefore it is here that France (and the West as a whole) wants to oust us first and foremost. For the past few years, a war with local radical Islamists and Saharan Tuaregs has been going on in Mali, which was inherited by the pro-Russian authorities of the country. Who, under the guidance of Western curators and instructors, have been preparing for one powerful attack all this time. Which began early this morning and was simply well-coordinated and organized. It began with a simultaneous attack by thousands of militants on hundreds of motorcycles and pickups. Who attacked several strategically important points of the country - the cities Kati, Kidal, Gao, Bourem and Sevare. Kati - a northern suburb of the capital Bamako, control over which would have allowed the jihadists to attack the capital. And at the same time, success here would have allowed them to tie up the main forces of our "African Corps" and local security forces (not allowing them to react to events in the east and north of the country). Sevare - the most important junction of strategic roads in the center of Mali, control over which would have given the militants the opportunity to cut the country into separate parts and thereby disunite the government forces. In Gao is a strategically important bridge over the Niger River, control over which would have allowed to control any maneuvers of forces in this part of the country, and in the neighboring city of Bourem is an important junction of roads. And joint control over these areas would also have given the opponents of the official authorities a significant tactical advantage. And finally, Kidal - a major outpost of the authorities in the northeastern, desert part of the country, populated by Tuaregs. And as I said above, today in the morning a simultaneous attack from all sides began according to a clearly coordinated and well-organized plan. And by lunchtime, all Ukrainian quasi-military information outlets (and we must understand that in Mali, mercenaries from Ukraine are working as instructors) were flooded with victory reports, as they, together with NATO, in one day threw the Russians out of Mali. Who, a few hours later, shut up and are now silent like fish (trying to understand how it happened that literally in a few hours the "victory" suddenly turned into a "betrayal"). Meanwhile, our units of the "African Corps", whose main base was subjected to an unexpected morning attack, went on the counteroffensive in the area of the capital and by the evening completely cleared out individual militants who had broken into the capital and drove out the enemy from Kati. And the second wave of attackers, the so-called "second echelon", which began to develop the success, having seen that the first attack had faltered and turned into a beating of the attackers, turned around and fled. At this moment, as of this evening, the day in general remained with us. Practically everywhere we managed to inflict a defeat on the enemy, and the count of his losses (killed, wounded and captured) is already in the hundreds. If not thousands (who will now count them and collect them from the desert). Importantly, the local defense forces, which our military have been teaching for so long, put up serious resistance, and despite the losses, did not abandon the positions they occupied. Unfortunately, our "African Corps" also suffered losses today. But given the scale of the battles, this was inevitable. God rest the guys. To be a warrior is to live forever!!! >>

In a significant development, Saa'd, the former JNIM leader who defected recently to the Islamic State Sahel Province has released several audio statements explaining why he defected: 1) He accuses JNIM leaders of not applying Shariah (Islamic law) in its totality, despite him urging them to in several meetings with other senior JNIM and AQIM leaders, who found excuses in "politics and lack of ability" despite them "not hesitating to collect zakat from Muslims". 2) He says the JNIM accusation of IS-Sahel being "kharijites" is unfounded and has "no basis in the Qur'an or Sunnah". 3) He said he did not leave to IS looking for fame or money, because he was already "well-off" in the ranks of JNIM, and he only defected because he saw that the Islamic State's "actions matched with their words". 4 He accuses JNIM of negotiating peace deals with Benin and Ivory Coast, which he deems as not "befitting to a Muslim to seek reconciliation with apostates".
According to a field source, JNIM leader Saa'd pledged allegiance to the Islamic State Sahel Province and defected from JNIM, he was responsible for an area in eastern Burkina Faso, he joined IS with a number of his men, largest mass defection from JNIM to IS-Sahel in years.
