Founding stock/Heritage Americans are largely Anglo-Celtic in extraction, and are largely concentrated in the South. They prefer the government to be distant and limited, they are family oriented, heirarchical and their violence tends to be personal in nature
The cultural foundation of the PNW was laid by New Englanders and then populated largely with Scandinavians and Germans, this is why it behaves politically like New England of old. It is very individualistic and itβs politics are teutonically radical and universal (both left and right)
We are simply too different to bear the same identity
