Creepz is the most undervalued OG NFT project, and here’s why 👇
~3 months ago,
@rbrtmb and the
@Unserious_Inc team acquired
@creepz and have been non stop building ever since.
Their primary goals are what ALL projects need to achieve to survive and scale:
1️⃣ Revenue - without revenue, you are a hostage to your treasury, and if you can’t raise when cash is running low, then 99% of the time it’s game over.
The team knows this and is building products that drive revenue, are Web3- and mainstream-friendly, and create value for Creepz holders.
The new market (
creepz.co/u/callum) is a prime example, though it's not one of the main products I’m talking about.
Users can now create referral codes and earn a 2.5% ongoing rev-share tracked across the new marketplace and OpenSea for onboarding new holders,
Additionally, 5% of all sale fees are used to sweep the Creepz floor, and the ‘CreepzSweepz’ wallet has already swept 23 Creepz in its first week, taking them out of circulation.
Imagine it maintained that every week; that's ~100 Creepz a month, or ~1,200 a year, locked up.
We recently welcomed legendary lizard lord
@AdamWeitsman to the community, who vaulted ~600 Creepz into his NFT museum, amplifying Creepz’s growing scarcity.
You can now also buy Creepz with a credit card through the new marketplace, reducing friction for non-native crypto users. These are small wins that can create significant long-term upside.
2️⃣ Aligned Incentives - NFTs without a community are nothing more than digital JPEGs. YOU and I are what give NFTs life, and when it comes to communities, Creepz is one of the strongest in the entire Web3 space.
A literal lizard cult that thrives in chaos and lives and breathes conspiracies- and, of course, a love for
@psychrome’s iconic illustrations.
But let’s be real, 99% of holders want an ROI, and the
@Unserious_Inc team knows that. I can only describe what comes next as a product conveyor belt that compounds over time and keeps driving value back to Creepz holders.
Think of it as a circular economy where each product fuels the next build, all of which appeal to the entire Web3 space and, more importantly, beyond that bubble.
Each product pays homage to Creepz in their own way, and for once, you accrue value without needing to sell the lizards you’ve come to love. In turn, demand to join the Creepz cult increases and supply continues to shrink.
This is all theoretical, of course, and not financial advice, but this is how I see it playing out.
Also bear in mind that Creepz is the only OG brand yet to deliver a token, but most importantly, they’ve watched and learned from every other token launch.
3️⃣ Distribution - no brand born in Web3 can scale without getting more eyes on it, period. What’s different now in Creepz’s case is that the new team is building the foundations to fund the distribution flywheel while creating ongoing value for holders.
The contacts to get Creepz toys and merchandise into major retailers are in place, along with pitching a TV series or an IP-driven shooter.
Achieving 1️⃣ and 2️⃣ makes 3️⃣ possible, and that’s at least what drew me into Creepz in the first place, because I could see the IP and lore making it onto the big screen.
It almost did once with Stoopid Buddy and the ex-Futurama scriptwriter, so it can happen again under the right circumstances with the new team.
Everything is moving in the right direction, and although it is early days after a rollercoaster ride with the past team, I am confident Creepz will make the greatest comeback Web3 has ever seen.
