Introducing 🪻Lavender RP V 🪻
A NEW beginning for my longest-running game.
I have completely overhauled Lavender RP 5 from the ground up. After years of consistent development, countless changes, and over 7 whole years of a WONDERFUL journey..!
Lavender RP 5 is becoming Lavender RP V.

1) Optimisation⚡
ONE of my biggest priorities for this update is performance... Since 2023, Lavender RP 5 has grown considerably, with loads of updates & features. BUT... with that growth has also come a lot, and I mean a lot, of lag.
So with this release, I've spent a significant amount of time making the experience smoother, more responsive, and more enjoyable overall.
Lavender RP V will be 85% more optimised than before, so no matter what device you play on, it'll be smooth & fun.
And alongside these improvements, some of the longest-lasting bugs have been squashed, and persistent glitches have been patched.

2) A new & improved Lavender City 🏢
In this update, nearly 45% of the previous map has been removed... You heard that right. Lavender North is completely gone. I've done this to make room for an improved & enjoyable version of the main Lavender City.
I didn't just do this to make the map smaller; I did it to allow the experience to focus on the places where players can spend their time, meet others more easily, and create their own stories.
The result is a renewed, bigger central area, a new beach, shops, loads of hangout locations, and a billion more opportunities to explore and enjoy the world around you, while meeting new players everywhere you go.
And there is more... the expanded Lavender City is specifically designed to evolve. More locations, activities, and additions are planned for future updates. The city will continue to build around you as you play for (possibly) years to come.

3) An upgraded roleplaying experience 👮🏻
Lavender RP has ALWAYS been about one thing: giving players a world in which they can create their own experiences & their own stories, with their imagination. Solo or with friends.
Whether you want to spend time exploring the city, hang out with friends or family, or find new people, discover new places, or build your own roleplaying stories... Lavender RP should give you the freedom to do so!
With Lavender RP V, I'm putting 100% of my time into making the experience genuinely enjoyable to play. I'm improving the foundation of the entire game, upgrading the way players may interact with the world, and creating more opportunities for amazing moments, memorable stories, and everyday imaginative roleplay.
I want Lavender RP V to feel like a genuine living city, and this is how I can make it happen!!
And there is still plenty of work that will go into it; unfortunately, I can't exactly solve it in one update😬But as time goes on, more opportunities will arise, and there will continue to be new ways players can imagine & roleplay.

This re-release isn't the end of Lavender RP 5, nor is it a way to give it some kind of big send-off before Lavender RP VI... NO.
A new series of updates is planned for the future - And these updates will continue to enhance gameplay, improve roleplaying, introduce more opportunities, and develop Lavender City into a complete & enjoyable experience for the foreseeable future.
There is a lot I'd like to accomplish with Lavender RP V before Lavender RP VI... and this renewed direction allows me to work towards those ambitions without interfering with the "next-generation of roleplaying" with Lavender RP VI.

The Lavender RP franchise has been a huge part of my life for over 7 years now. It has changed enormously, while still keeping its core purpose. And there still is so much potential left to explore before the next generation of LRP.
One of my biggest hopes for this update/re-release is that it will give the game a real new beginning. An opportunity to welcome back anyone who may have played it before, introduce Lavender RP to players who have never experienced it before, and finally build an active, enjoyable and fun community!
My biggest ambition is to have people join Lavender RP V.. and have fun. Lots of fun.
I want players to find their own reasons to stay... their own stories to tell, memories to make. And I want to keep improving the game based on what makes the experience better for the people who DO play it.
I obviously cannot promise exactly what the future might hold, or how quickly, or if it will grow at all… what I CAN promise, though, is that this update represents a renewed commitment to the game and the future of it.
So to everyone who has maybe played Lavender RP 5, or has at least supported it/me, thank you. Thank you so much!
And if you've only just discovered it? Maybe play it when this update releases, invite a few friends, and explore the city - you might enjoy it 😉
