Great question.
Yeah... I reflect about this a lot.
If we're going to discuss real topics, here is indeed a real one.
I spent years grinding trading around the clock with one simple goal: make money and earn my freedom.
Along the way, I met successful people who told me something my parents had always said too:
"Money doesn't make you happy."
I never understood it, I always thought it's a fluke, just something mentioned by people who don't have much of it, expressed out of envy.
I didn't get the saying at all.
I wanted money, freedom and "to do whatever I want to do".
And then...
...ironically, the moment i earnt my freedom, and my life became too comfortable all the time, I become "free" and I started losing a sense of purpose almost instantly.
And that's something I never expected happening, not this quickly and abruptly.
Since, I continued to meet people who all had money and I saw with my own eyes how many were miserable.
So whether it was planned or not, out of my lack of purpose, starting social media changed that strangely enough.
Trading had always been a difficult game to master. But teaching it, sharing my thinking, and being immersed in a community where thousands of people interpret the same markets differently introduced an entirely new level to the game.
Everyone has an opinion, and an outspoken one. It's no longer a game of money, but a competition, a sport, and a game of mastery. It is not us against the market but against a living world where many can pick and choose who they want to believe join and trust and why.
Suddenly, trading became exciting again.
Now, when I lose a trade, there's more than money at stake. My decisions are public. My reasoning is challenged. My ego and behaviour gets challenged sometimes and my reputation is on the line.
And when I get something right, I get to share that experience with people who are learning alongside me.
Meanwhile, I get to share the experience and help others achieve the dream of freedom.
Because yes, money is nice, I wouldn't want to return to my old life at all. But the lord does something strange when you achieve it. He plants the seed of continuing to achieve in different ways almost immediately.
It's a completely different kind of motivation.
And frankly, that's my most genuine answer to why I keep coming back and sharing.
Can I ask you something real astro:
why do you share all your trades for free, why do you take all the s*** that comes along with it from all the people that don't know how to interpret them and what makes it worth doing for you?
What drives you i want to know.
