As I get older, one of my primary gut check judges of character for people or organizations is "Would I be happy if my children were involved with you." If I feel visceral disgust thinking of my son or daughter involved, its likely bad.
I think this is a fairly normal worldview.

there’s never been a better time to be ambitious, to build things that would be impossible to build with a huge team and millions in budget.
a new medium is being born & we’ve seen nothing yet.
We may have reached the singularity with digital experiences. Opus 5.5 has proven that it's capable of producing tasteful, well-designed experiences, like this example here.
Any digital experience will likely be commoditised, personalised and available to anyone who seeks it. In the near future, any digital experience you can think of will probably be generated in minutes, or even seconds.
I'm still not sure what to think of this. On one side, it's amazing, we'll enter an era of digital content abundance. Whatever you seek to experience, learn or play, you'll be able to generate it in seconds.
On the flip side, the joy of creation will be largely diminished, because any experience you could think of will probably have been generated by someone else already.
I think premium gaming experiences and amazing movies by human directors will still exist, but that high bar is slowly getting eaten up by generative AI, and I can foresee a future where it surpasses even that.
What a time to be alive to experience this.

I don't really understand the lack of accountability for judges who let people out who immediately go to kill or harm others. This guy got $0 bail and then broke into a house and murdered a guy and tried to kill his family.
We lose a children's doctor and get to pay for years of incarceration for a guy who will plead not guilty by insanity and have a judge grant him that. All while AOC spreads lynching hoaxes to the masses.

So, I do think Roon is right about this, but what I believe the right EXPERIENCE will be is what I've written about before: the single-thread captain's chair model.
Rather than silent routing, which frustrates users when they don't get the answers they expect, a single-thread agent that is intelligent and clearly and directly delegates a question to the appropriate level of intelligence will seem very obvious. This is especially true when framed in language that the user understands.
We'll start calling sub-agents researchers, builders, or drones, depending on the expected level of intelligence and the expectations set. This is the UX, I think, where routers win: not behind the scenes, invisibly, where you're confused by the output and it's hard to diagnose.
model switcher paradigm will be vindicated in the long run. there is a high switching cost into a very new UX on a useful product, but it’s the right move
