I raised serious concerns with the proposal, and many of you did too. Thank you to everyone who spoke up and made your voice heard.

I recently toured the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, where the Erie City Mission hopes to create The Haven, a new facility serving women and children in need.
A great project that would give new life to this building while supporting Erie families.

I recently joined the Sight Center of Northwest Pennsylvania for a community breakfast highlighting its work to prevent blindness, provide vision rehabilitation and help people maintain their independence. Thank you to Linda Moore and the entire team!

My staff attended the launch of PAL HOPE ASPIRES at Eagle's Nest Athletic Center.
Funded by a 3-yr, $500K state BOOST grant, this new program brings PAL to K-5 kids in Housing Authority properties, building real relationships with police through the COPPS Team.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the first responders who ran toward danger and recognize those who answered our nation’s call.

My staff attended the Presque Isle Gateway District open house to learn more about the proposed redevelopment and hear from Millcreek residents.
The project could bring new housing, businesses, public spaces and pedestrian improvements to West Eighth Street.

Nearly four years after meeting with the Game Commission and Senate Game & Fisheries Committee at Siegel Marsh, a rehabilitation plan is moving forward.
Construction is set for 2028 to improve dam safety, wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities in Erie County.
