Solomon has to figure out a strong value capture mechanism though. If you ran the math $8b in USDv at an APY of 3.5% is $280M in yield paid out to USDv holders.
If Solomon takes a 2% cut on that yield, that's 5.6M in protocol fees.
Not sure though how the math works, probably Solomon takes a higher cut (T-bills yield closer to 4% and they pass on 3.5% to USDv users).
0.5% of $8B would be $40M in protocol revenue.
Their "yield routing infra" is arguably the better long term play. There they can charge 1%-3% on all yield (t-bills yield, stock dividends, revenue share with tokenholders, etc) according to @oxranga
now that @solomon_labs has launched usdv, it’s time a for little moonmath.
usdc supply on solana currently sits at 8b, my bet here is usdv flips that.
conservatively, comps like $ena and $sky have traded around .25 mcap/tvl.
that puts $solo mcap at 2b, 100x from here.
