They've done a good job of hiding 'The Reality War' slates but you can tell from the Behind the Scenes and Unleashed videos which scenes were part of the February shoots because director Alex Pillai's hair is longer.

For those wondering what happened to Belinda's Dad/family etc... A scene with Belinda's family was cut from the pre-titles sequence of The Robot Revolution, and likely something from the ending of The Reality War to make space for the reshot material

The sad reality is that if Season 1 performed better with Disney and their audience, Ncuti would probably be in the middle of filming Season 3 right now 🥲 I don't blame him for leaving at all. This is an in-demand actor, who can't hang around on ifs, buts and maybes.

If you're thinking that the regen felt tacked on, that's because it was. As I feared, the reshoots in February retooled the episode to facilitate a regeneration.

They will paint the story that it was always the plan, but it wasn't. All the stuff in the house at the end and Ncuti's regen was shot in February 2025. The episode originally filmed in April 2024.

The Reality War is the first episode of the era not to be sent in any form to the press early. Episode 6 was sent with the Rani reveal redacted. The Reality War has not been sent out at all.
