The deadline for an extension for Scoot is October 19th at 3:00pm PST
I do think it’s possible we see an extension happen just to keep him in Portland
What number would you wanna see Scoot sign at? I’d be happy with a 4yr/~$80M contract

Tom Dundon on the Moda Center renovation deal:
“On the arena, our focus is the long term. We're working to make sure Moda Center remains one of the best buildings in the NBA. There's work ahead, and we'll keep pushing until we get there.”
A good sign for staying in Portland 🌹

Ja hasn’t even stepped foot on the court as a Blazer and people are already talking about trading him
GET OUTTA HERE MAN JA IS STAYING A BLAZER 😭🌹
Rival executives are monitoring Ja Morant fit on the Trail Blazers with there being a potential play of Portland rehabbing his trade value and then offloading him, per @JakeLFischer

Not sure why people are taking this as if it said “Scoot is THE foundational piece”
Him and Ja could be a very cohesive backcourt in the future, especially as Scoot develops into a Jrue Holiday type of player
Glad the Blazers are trying to hold onto him 🌹
REPORT: The Blazers received calls from multiple teams before the trade deadline about Scoot Henderson’s availability, per @BrettSiegelNBA
“Each time, the Blazers turned down the opportunity to engage in talks centered on Henderson because they believe he can be a long-term foundational piece.”

Jrue Holiday on Scoot Henderson today.
“Scoot’s been playing really well. He’s doing a lot of everything, knocking down 3s, getting into the paint, putting pressure on the rim and then picking up full court.”
Also goes on to say Scoot can guard 1-4 positions and sometimes even the 5

So we’re all in favor here of Braiden getting his job back right? 🌹
Braiden Bell — the play-by-play announcer the Portland Trail Blazers hired and fired on the same day after being notified of derogatory tweets he posted as a team — has hired counsel and is asking for reinstatement.
