I have no idea why it came out like this but if anyone wants to add me on BO7 for year 2🫡 #blackops7 #carryforward

Me personally? I draw the line at:
• You guys cancelling Carry Forward for Black Ops 7, then implementing a Skin Filter a year later for MW4
• Removing Open Matchmaking as the default SBMM system
• Not adding the Black Ops 6 Zombies maps to Black Ops 7
• Constantly ignoring feedback and being snarky on the CoDCM account.
Fix it.

They clearly can do it; there's no excuse now

This was new tech built alongside MW4.
Community note
The Operator Skin toggle does not rely on entirely new technology; Warzone has used similar operator skin filtering and replacement mechanics (e.g. showing defaults for exclusives) for years.

See Call of Duty: Warzone your way.
Starting with Season 1, a new Operator Skin toggle lets you display only MW4 Operators in game. Learn more: callofduty.com/blog/2026/09/…

You really cannot make this shit up.
Activision really is the most incompetent company of all time. And I know this is going to start the Carry Forward tweets again because they just proved they COULD do it, and didn't.

#BlackOps7 Year 2 with Carry Forward subplot:
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta only peaked at #6 on PS5 and #4 on Xbox Series X|S in the US (week of Aug 29 - Sept 5)
Per Circana's player tracker, Black Ops 7 & Warzone in the Call of Duty app maintained a higher player count compared to the MW4 Open Beta
