Illuminated personal essay on the loss of connection I felt using Dall-E. I use Tezhip, an Islamic art form I trace back to the Uyghur people to explore lineage and ways of caretaking that respect the origins of our art. Thread on its details logicmag.io/supa-dupa-skies/…

Ronny Chieng said the mission of their generation is to destroy AI & the crowd loved it. #DestroyAI about to trend. With phrenology jokes too. Making fun of things is a civic duty. Shut up nerd. It is. They jail comics. youtube.com/watch?v=ORq_Hi5d…

Friends, let's take a look at who Bernie seems to be taking advice from w.r.t. "AI Safety." The man is called Max Tegmark. Who do you notice in this so-called "AI Safety" panel with Tegmark? I'll help. Do Muskrat and Netanyahu sound like people who care about "Safety"?

Rather than a just transition, where decarbonised economies are accompanied by more democratic workplaces and a fairer distribution of wealth, we're getting an AI-driven 'unjust transition' that reinforces the global fossil-fuel autocracy. Case in point: restofworld.org/2025/khazna-…

Y'all said you'd send me a replacement phone over a month ago and nothing ever arrived and no one ever replies back to my follow up emails. I guess that's how customer service works. I give up trying to get customer service. Wish I had never switched.

Does it? My pixel hasn't worked for 2 months and after weeks of calls/emails I'm still trying to get you to follow through on promises you made but you simply did not do what you said you would do. I've never had such a horrible experience with getting a problem resolved.

Wondering how Google responds? They email but they don't help, one week later, a dozen emails in and every person requires an explanation as if they don't read the thread, & now they suggest I call a different department for the help they already promised they would give.

Typical AI. Studio Ghibli AI art is trending when Miyazaki famously hated it calling AI art "an insult to life itself". All Ghibli style art is trained on his work without permission & these prompts are basically spitting in his face: disrespecting his work + stealing his labor.

I've been a crypto developer and artist since 2014. I'm trans. My favourite memory was 2 days ago when I didn't know what transphobes you are. I'll use Western Union before I ever consider touching your corpse. You aren't a chain, you're just several daddy issues in a trenchcoat.

Alarm bells for anyone using US technology to stop doing so asap. With the erratically led US government that companies fear or want to suck upto, it may be weaponized or disabled in the blink of an eye ↘️
Unbelievable. The American company Maxar has suspended Ukraine's access to its satellite imagery services, — Military The company cited an "administrative request" as the official reason. This confirms that the trump administration, through the State Department, has banned American companies and commercial services from providing satellite data to Ukraine.

Absolutely true: maps, social media, weather reports, communication systems, they are all weapons for any country dependent on US tech for anything.
