Discussion topic: there is no 'Great Replacement'. It is a fugazi. What there actually is, is just retarded policies stacked on retarded policies for some 40 ish years that has reached the point where the incompetence is so vulgar and extreme that people start to assume there is conspiracy. There is no conspiracy. It's just runaway retardation by our atrophied political 'elite'; the least talented people in society have gravitated towards politics for many years and this is the result - and it is one of many, pick an area of public policy and it's fully retarded from top to tail; energy, water, infrastructure, capital markets, etc. Name one that isn't. I will wait. Now, this isn't to say that mass deportations are not required, they very very clearly are economically critical to any future and are also clearly civilisationally essential. But to attribute 'conspiracy' to this shower of retards - both the actors in politics and the mansards in the civil service - suggests they are some collective of highly competent humans, when the total polar opposite is the reality. I refer you all to @Fink_Money grand unifying theory of politics for details. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
You know, I’ve seen the conspiracy theories, ‘replacement theory’, ‘this is all planned and deliberate’ etc. and thought they were rubbish. But really, cards on the table, what the hell else CAN be happening? It is so surreal now, logic suggests something sinister IS going on?

Holy. Shit. Drone footage from the UK tonight… The UK government is using the cover of darkness to continue importing foreign men. They will all live off British taxpayers. Before long, they will all have multiple children. It’s being done on purpose.

It's not about the money. Money has an effect, yes, but it's a part of something bigger. Women are genetically programmed to mate up. Not down. And not even across. Up. If she doesn't regard a man as superior to her, she generally doesn't want to have his babies. What this means is that there is an extremely simple control dial on fertility. More male power and status = more babies. More female power and status = less babies. Yes, it really is that simple. Why? Because every species has a mating ritual, and can only breed if they can carry it out. That's why you can breed rats and chickens in cages, but not pandas. Different mating ritual. And a critical element of the human mating ritual is "male impresses female". Not charms. Not bribes. Definitely not respects. Impresses. So, if you take power, wealth, and status away from men, and give it to women, you are just plain reaching for the controls and turning down the fertility dial. If you let men keep power, wealth and status — you don't have to give it to them because they're the ones who create it — fertility goes up. The fertility crisis is really the equality crisis. This idea might horrify you. You might have been taught all your life that everyone is equal, or must be, and anything else is unfair. Well, have you looked around you at universe? Unfairness is baked into the life cycle of every living organism, not mention the food chain. Evolutionary processes don't care about fairness. They care what works. Perhaps someday, we will be able to code DNA as easily as we code C++, and can decide what we want our instincts to be. But until that day, we are faced with a choice. 1. Stop using the political, legal, and mass media processes to force female equality, if not outright female supremacy, on the first world. Or 2. Die out and be replaced by third world retards, who will stay on this planet fighting wars with increasingly rusty AK47s and then spears, until the next asteroid comes along.
If a productive middle class family wants to have a child, they need to have good insurance and budget out like $8,000. If welfare dregs want to have a child, they just show up to the hospital and have it paid for by the productive middle class family. Societies die this way.

The Containment Right don't actually make arguments. They just race around with a label gun, pasting random words on stuff. Your argument isn't wrong, it's "fascist". Or "communist". Or somehow "fascist" and "communist" at the same time, or either one depending on whether the calendar day is odd or even-numbered. The goal, of course, is avoid confronting the meaning of what you actually said. Instead, they want to put what you said in a box with something else, then pretend that something else is the same thing, then refute the something else. They don't want to actually engage with sentences like "White people have ethnic shared interests", or "White people have homelands". They can't. They can't explain why "colorblind" means "Whites don't get to have the things other races can have". So they try to put the whole topic in the Hitler Box, and then argue against the box by saying "genocide is wrong". It's just a word game. They'll call you anything from "snowflake", "woke", and "victim mentality" to "fascist", "Nazi", and "colonizer", sometimes on the same page. Sometimes in the same paragraph. Anything to avoid a five minute adult conversation.

The lesson of the long twentieth century is that mercy gets you nowhere. You will pay for it forever. No one gives the Arabs a hard time about the slave trade, because the Arabs made sure there were no descendants of slaves. No one gives the Argentines a hard time about stolen land, because the indigenous peoples of Argentina were systematically eliminated. No one gives the Japanese a hard time about the Ainu, because there are no Ainu.
This is where the Arabs were ahead of us By castrating all their slaves, they made sure that there were no descendants who could claim reparations

I can't speak for anyone else, but my objections to immigration are not so materialistic as feeling jealous that an Indian might outearn me or a Mexican might speak Spanish in front of me or whatever. It's not that those "quality of life" issues that are frequently cited aren't a factor, but my primary objection would still remain even if every immigrant perfectly LARPed as a white American. No, my objection is far deeper than that. I want a place that I can call home, that feels like home, that has some continuity with the place I grew up in. I want to be around people whose minds are fundamentally legible to me, who look like me, who speak like me, and with whom I have a shared ancestral history. I want to live among my own people, with our own ways, and be able to say, "this is home, this is where I belong, this is where I am rooted." I never wanted to be a deracinated, rootless nomad, but here we are. There is a deep pain that comes with seeing your home fundamentally altered beyond all recognition and to know that it can never come back. Even if every immigrant was sent home, I don't think the social fabric of American society would recover in my lifetime, if ever. Mass immigration has largely resulted in Americans adapting to the new low-trust society, with detrimental outcomes. Every one of these immigrants has a recognisable place to call home, a place to return to where their people and history and traditions remain as they left them, a place where their lineage has continuity. But they would happily deprive us of all these things they value and preserve for themselves just so they can enrich themselves at our expense. I've never met a single immigrant who felt even the least bit bad about their participation in destroying absolutely every single white European homeland. There is not a single place left in the world that I can reasonably call home. Not the country I grew up in, not any of the countries my ancestors came from. But they don't care. A lot of them even laugh about it and want to rub it in our faces. And my consolation prize for this is supposed to be... *checks notes* ...that Pedro and Pajit are thriving financially as a result of their exploitation of my homeland?

Over the last few days, we've learned from Neocons, Liberals pretending to be Conservatives, and Beautiful Losers who want to revert the GOP back to 2012 that: >Quoting Theodore Roosevelt makes you Hitler >Quoting John Jay makes you a Woke Right Postliberal >Quoting Thomas Jefferson is anti-Constitutional >It's racist and antisemitic to ask if Israel would remain Israel if it became majority Palestinian >Mentioning the Friend-Enemy Distinction makes you an enemy >Being an American means believing in a series of propositions that carry no price for betraying them >It's anti-American to oppose letting literal Marxists who want to stage an armed Communist revolution hold elected office in the very country they want to overthrow >We should conserve the Biden immigration wave >Americans who are opposed to becoming a hated minority in their own country are Nazis who need to be publicly outed, canceled, fired, and gatekept out of the GOP Imagine where we'd be if these people fought the Left with the same level of ruthless tenacity as they do those to their Right.

Pretty insane PhD job market spillover problem in China. Shenzhen Middle School has over 100 teachers with a PhD, and 150 graduates of Tsinghua/PKU, 100+ alum of Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge You don’t need a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua to teach middle school math…. but the job market in China basically forces that lol

"You're an American if you love America, share its founding ideals, and prefer its way of life! That is all that's required!" "Hold on a second. Are we actually requiring any of those things?" "What?" "Like, can we revoke people's citizenship and kick them out if they don't love America?" "No! Of course not! That would violate the first amendment!" "How about if they don't share the ideals of its founders?" "No! First amendment!" "How about if they don't adopt or practice the American way of life, or don't even bother to learn English?" "No, you bigot! First amendment!" "Can we deny or revoke citizenship to anyone, in any way, based on any ideological test or public expression of feelings or opinions?" "No, that would be literally fascism. What's wrong with you?" "So what you're saying is that an American identity exists, we're just not allowed to test for it in any way, or exclude those who don't have it?" "Now you finally get it!"
What makes you American isn't how long your family has been here or what your ancestors did. Nor is it just whether you live here or are a citizen. It's how much you love our country, share its Founding ideals, & prefer its way of life to that of any other place. Our heritage as Americans is its ideas & culture, not its bloodlines.

Last month I wrote about how we can build a positive and safe future for everyone: meta.com/thefutureisforevery… Every lab has the responsibility and incentive to move at the pace required to train its models safely, and the ability to take its own actions to ensure that happens. The reality is: - People won't want to use agents that are misaligned with them and that don't do what they ask, so labs have a strong natural incentive to make their models more aligned. There is a lot of debate about slowing progress on capabilities until alignment catches up. My view is that trust and alignment are quickly becoming the most important capabilities that will differentiate agents and models. Any lab that doesn't focus on alignment will fall behind. - Labs face significant liability if their models cause harm, so they have a strong incentive to prevent this as well. Meta delayed shipping Muse for several months to focus on safety and security. We didn't call for everyone else to do this before we would. We just did it as part of our day-to-day work because it was clearly the right thing for people and for us. I'm proud of the security foundations we've built. - Engaging independent evaluators and advisors is industry best practice. MSL already does this today in several areas because it helps produce better work. Other labs can just do this too. In general, it would be helpful for there to be a larger and more diverse ecosystem of evaluators. - Committing the significant majority of compute towards serving people rather than racing towards recursive self-improvement is one of the best ways to ensure we develop this technology safely. Meta has made this commitment and other labs can do this as well. I believe the key to building a positive future for everyone is maintaining the right balance of power. This is within our power to do.
