Update on the Chart of the Century: GOLD/DJI GOLD/DJI has broken above the 200-month moving average last year and successfully retested it this year. That is a very important development. What makes this even more significant technically is that the 200-month SMA is also lining up with the old resistance zone from 2016 and 2020, which is now turning into support. In the last 100 years, this ratio has stayed and sustained above the 200-month SMA only 4 times before: The Great Depression The 1970–80 mega inflation cycle The 2008 Great Financial Crisis and now this is the 5th time That alone tells you we are likely heading toward a major monetary event in the coming years. As per the “Chart of the Century” I posted in August 2025, my view remains that this event could become bigger than the previous 4 episodes, with the long-term projection being Dow equalling Gold in the most optimistic case. This is the most long-term chart I track. I keep coming back to it because it helps me stay focused on the bigger picture and not get distracted by short-term noise.
