Which is cool cuz he's supposed to contrast and be a foil the protagonists as a villain and for a show about nuances of good&evil and redemption + growth and its nuances it's important to depict the "opposite" side of it (nuanced ppl who just love being evil but are still humans)

This is the first time I'm learning that apparently a lot of people believed Manny was the baby in this sequence. Yknow, despite the scene fading between him and the father mammoth very specifically.
The intent of this scene always seemed pretty clear to me.
