Last night I watched the first ep of #SouthPark season 29 on @ComedyCentral (or #SouthAmerica as it has been renamed). All the kids are masked-up, joining gangs & getting themselves e-bikes (Cartman of course is pretending it’s for exercise). And we got to see Kenny’s hair! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheWargame on @skytv with Michael Gove/Harriet Harman etc. Former (cross-party) politicians are a government dealing with a growing Russian threat. Devastating simulation making you feel like you’re in the (war) room where it happened! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #ColdAsBalls on @NetflixUK with Kevin Hart. Think Hot Wings but swap the chicken out for an ice bath. Novak Djokovic answers the questions in a bizarre locker room set in front of a hysterical crowd (it’s not funny). Least it’s 15 mins! 5/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #WisdomOfTheCrowd on @BBCOne with John Bishop. Great host for this new quiz but far too few questions for 45 mins. Can one person beat the average answer from 2000? Why the ‘Rawhide’ theme before every reveal? Fun but painfully drawn out! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #StrictlyComeDancing on @BBCOne with new hosts Emma/Josh/Johannes. It’s the pre-rec ‘meet your partner’ one so probs not 100% fair to judge (too many audience cutaways). They’ll grow: less autocue, Emma’s a natural, underwhelming celebs! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #NewZealandSpy 🇳🇿 on @skytv with Joe Thomas. Feels very 70s/80s as (the only) 3 recruits get two weeks of spy training before being let loose in the field aka ski slopes. Cringe at times & non-stop falling over the credits had me howling! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #PotteryThrowdown on @Channel4 with Liza Tarbuck. Usually celebs get a Xmas one-off but now it’s a full series with nobody leaving ‘til the semi-final. Denise/Layton/Fatiha/Richard/Lucy/Paul tackle breakfast sets hoping to make Keith cry! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #Physical100Italy on @NetflixUK after the original & pan-Asian seasons. Athletes, Olympians, influencers & people who live in gyms all want to claim they have the ultimate physique. Games are super dull but there’s lots of eye candy! 7/10 🇮🇹

Last night I watched the first ep of #Apocalypse on @Channel4 (superior #BBUK alternate). 2 groups of ‘survivors’ enter a derelict army base in the US (unaware of each other at first) trying to survive for 28 days, sorting out food/heat/shelter & where to poop: fascinating! 7/10

Last night I watched the launch of #BigBrother on @ITVX with AJ/Will. There is a new companion show (‘The Group Chat’) but it’s business as usual and even the addition of a mole or two will not keep me watching. Does anyone really care? Gonna try Channel 4’s new one instead! 5/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #StolenHeartbeats on @NetflixUK with Rami Herrera. There’s a hospital, nurse & patient who may be in a coma that he can communicate with (while nearly falling off a roof). And after 139 seconds it was over. What’s the point? More adverts? 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #EarleMeetsWorld on @NetflixUK with Alix Earle. Quite liked her on #DWTS last year, but this is unbearable. I know it’s not aimed at me, but it follows her moving house after a split with an American footballer. Managed about 10 minutes! 4/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #LiveFromTheLycettArms on @Channel4 with Joe Lycett. Basically it’s Late Night Lycett but in a pub (with an earworm of a theme tune); super rude, celebrity managers, a pub quiz, aunty barmaids… Tons of creativity but needs to be slicker! 8/10
