Personal update: I've quietly but officially accepted an offer to join the @fireship_dev team full time! 馃敟 A big switch to "behind the scenes" from what I am used to do. I love being involved in all aspects of supporting & augmenting a large scale video production pipeline.

Best part about Opus 5.5 is you never get "flagged by the classifier" and downgraded to Opus 5 :D

The motion graphic videos I see from Opus 5.5 on Twitter versus the results I get locally make me feel like some nerfing has been applied to my version of Opus 5.5 馃槄 It's still amazing tbh, but the video it generates are NOT amazing lol

I didn't provide any clips, just the song (so it doesn't generate dreadful AI music). It went in my catalogue of clips and picked some pretty good ones!

ONE morning without kids by myself and I realise how much TIME people living alone have. Don't want to hear none of that "I'm super busy" BS if you don't have kids 馃槅 I am sure you CAN get busy with other things and fill the available time space... but... it is NOT the same!

I think my biggest issue is I allowed it to try generate the music as well (did not ask, but it decided to). It probably over-indexed on that part, music sounded garbage, and tried to line up the whole motion to that tune. Trying again with a provided song instead and MAX think

My favourite part is the fact it started the edit with "B-roll" clips, and used the best dunk with my best reaction for the beat drop. That was super cool. I didn't instruct that at all. Wish it timed the hammer with the beat, it would have been sick. It will if I tell it.

The other impressive parts: - it tracked the player/action decently well - it knew my "wooooohoohohoho" was cool and added it to the edit while most of the footage audio is muted Shows some degree of feel for what makes a good edit.

Kids doing their first international "solo" flight together, without any adult. They are STOKED with the independence. Australia 鉃★笍 New Zealand. They did not expect wifi nor a TV screen, they got both. Their flight is shorter (2h45) than my drive back home from the airport 馃槀
