the whole "just apply to more jobs" advice ignores that employers smell desperation and ghost you even harder. been there. that waiting room anxiety is its own special kind of hell.

I mean, here is the thing you can literally do anything now. You want to analyze blood work, know why your knees click and create a rehab program, you want to create apps, you want to become a hacker, fix the washer and dishwasher, repair your own car, well you can do all those things now basically by yourself. It's just hard to translate those things into income and the system isn't really setup for people to quickly make startup businesses. There's liability, permits, licenses, politics, and other hoops. So we're kind of at a point where self learners can doing anything but aren't really allowed to. Cost of living creates massive penalties for non participation so to even do things like create startups is functionally discouraged in the current system.

Arguing with older people at my work, because apparently this generation have it easy, got told my opinion wasn't valid because I have a job and I'm young 🤣🤷‍♂️

Don't have sympathy for the ones that would rather do nothing but wait for a grad job than take a job on the level of McDonald's for the time being until they can land one.

I lost my first job literally last year, after like a month and four days over some dumbass shit. Little did I know it was right when getting a job off-tops was becoming harder and harder. Fuck me. And it was my first one in...basically forever.

I am sadly apart of the people who are unemployed iv’e been applying to job’s since March iv’e applied to 4 job’s iv’e had 2 interview’s but i haven’t been hired the crazy part is iv’e been applying to job’s i have 3 year’s of experience doing and my experience isn’t enough
