Shaquille O’Neal says John Stockton had an easy job and anyone could have become the NBA’s all-time assists leader by throwing the ball to Karl Malone “I'm tired of y'all giving people with easy jobs greatness. Anybody could have done what John Stockton did. Throw the ball to Karl Malone” “What if you trade John Stockton for Scott Skiles. Are they the same guy? He can't come off the pick and roll and throw the ball to Karl Malone and be the all time assist leader?” “I wasn't disrespecting John Stockton. I just hate when y'all talk about these people that had easy jobs. I had to carry. John Stockton just had to deliver. Tony Parker just had to deliver” “Dennis Rodman. When Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen got doubled, you get a free run to the lane and get a rebound. That's the easy freaking job. When he left the fucking Bulls, what did he do? I'll wait”

Gilbert Arenas says Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant would not have taken LeBron’s 2016 Cavaliers to the Finals because they lacked his patience The Cavs finished 57–25 that season, earning the top seed in the Eastern Conference before reaching the Finals for a rematch with the Warriors. LeBron’s supporting cast included Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Tristan Thompson, Iman Shumpert, Richard Jefferson and Matthew Dellavedova. Cleveland fell behind 3–1 against a Warriors team that had won an NBA-record 73 games, then won three straight to become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3–1 deficit in the Finals and win the championship. “They would have got to the playoffs, but those guys wouldn't have answered the call the same because they would have been afraid. You know, J.R. missed three, four shots. With LeBron, he's going to take four or five more... They’d played with Kobe and wouldn't have shot the ball at all. Like nah, here you go”

Tim Hardaway Sr. GOES OFF on Michael Beasley for getting on the internet and claiming the NBA doesn’t prepare players for life after the league. Beasley stated that he was never taught how to fill out W-2 Tax forms or handle a bank account. ——- Hardaway Sr: “Some of this sh*t that you be saying is ridiculous. All right, I'm in high school."  "I knew how to write a f*cking check in high school. All right, I knew about W-2s in high school. I knew about a lot of sh*t that you was talking about in high school. What the f*ck did you do in high school?"  "Did you just go to class and not listen and be like this, 'Hey girl, how you doing?' Or go to college and not do nothing? Come on Mike, come on man. Understand this shit is going viral, man."  "Understand that some of the sh*t that you saying is not cool for you. It's not for the NBA, for you. Now they gonna go look at the high school. Now they gonna go look at the college."  "I'm real serious, Mike, stop, stop. Dude, I love you man, I love you, but you need to stop some of that sh*t. I knew about a W-2, I knew about writing a check, how to write a check. I knew how to type."  "I knew how to do a lot of sh*t that you say in high school. If you don't know about how to write a check or W-2 and you in the NBA, you didn't go to school. You didn't listen in class, Mike."  via The Crossover Poscast

Officer pulls over a man for not stopping at a stop sign, and it escalates to a place that it should never have. Lawsuit coming. On May 18, 2026, Galveston Police Officer Joshua Nino De Guzman initiated a traffic stop on a black Lincoln driven by 47-year-old Randy Martin near Avenue L and 55th Street—an area police noted was under active narcotics surveillance. The stated reason for the stop was rolling through stop signs. ( on the video to me it sure looks like he stopped) Things deteriorated rapidly once Martin was ordered out of the vehicle for a pat-down. Rather than de-escalating the encounter, Officer De Guzman quickly resorted to physical strikes on Martin during the attempt to search and restrain him. As the two struggled along the driver’s side door, Martin fought back and pulled away, but dashcam and bodycam footage show he never had a weapon even though the officer calls out like one was there. While investigators claimed Martin grabbed at the officer’s holstered firearm, the video shows a chaotic grapple where Martin appeared focused on pulling away and discarding suspected narcotics (later identified as crack cocaine) back inside the vehicle—a detail corroborated by the female passenger. In short, Martin was completely unarmed. Despite Martin having no firearm, Officer De Guzman disengaged, drew his duty we@pon, and f!red eight sh0ts. The medical examiner confirmed Martin was struck causing him to pass. In September 2026, a Galveston County grand jury declined to indict Officer De Guzman, returning a no-bill following the Texas Rangers' investigation. While the officer remains on administrative support duties pending an internal affairs review. Martin’s family and civil rights attorneys are preparing civil litigation, challenging the escalation tactics, the strike that ignited the scuffle, and the decision to discharge at an unarmed man. I'm honestly blown away by the grand jury as I wonder what video they saw. To me it felt like if the officer was following his training and trying de-escalate vs his actions in it video, this could have been avoided.

She said no. He said you’re under arrest. Nurse. Blue scrubs. Hospital policy in her hand. Unconscious patient. No warrant. No consent. Not under arrest. She walks the officer through the three legal lanes — warrant, consent, or arrest — and none of them apply. So she won’t stick a needle in a man who can’t say yes. That’s when the “routine request” ends. “Okay. No, we’re done. You’re under arrest.” He grabs her. Hand on her back. Phones out. She’s still saying she did nothing wrong while they walk her out of the unit she was protecting. This isn’t complicated. You don’t get to bully a nurse into breaking the law because you’re impatient. She followed the rulebook. He followed his ego. One of them belonged in cuffs that night — and it wasn’t her. “Watch:”
