bad update. my insurance just denied the medication even though its the only medication for endometriosis and i have diagnosed endometriosis via surgery. and its $4k out of pocket. im having a fucking nervous breakdown

i cant get a hysterectomy covered with insurance without getting this medication first. why do i keep having to continuously prove to the american healthcare system that im in pain even with fucking a diagnosis. i cant afford to pay for anything out of pocket

good and bad update: bad news is im being put on orilissa, a medication that induces menopause, for 3 months. good news is, no matter the outcome, im getting a hysterectomy after it YAY!! we just need to try it for insurance reasons and whatnot
