Citizens who contribute to fixing roads through their own funds must get the amount deducted from income tax computations.
It's clear that civic agencies have failed in their duties. So citizens can't be taxed for doing the civic agencies job.

After defying BMLTA scrutiny & with no EIA,
BDA thinks 2 km tunnel via lake land & chopping 1128 trees is a solution.
Very frustrating.
And this 100 yr old Banyan tree at the Veterinary campus seems to say:
"As long as you are alive, there is hope.
Don't give up Bengaluru"

BDA erred in awarding short tunnel road contract in May.
It did so without BMLTA Sec.19 approval.
It also didn't have the contested Rule Sec.24 exemption as it wasn't notified at the time.
The project is in legal jeopardy. BDA mustn't recklessly create irreversible equities.
