Never seen a Yoruba person who isn’t from Lagos claim Lagos state as his/her state of origin. We don’t use left hand to point to our father’s house.
Abeg go and sit down. This lie you lie every 4 years to deflect, while still claiming at the same time, that every Yoruba person is a Lagosian and have a say about Lagos because Lagos is Yoruba land. Even my Lagosian friend laments about this that when it is time for festivals, you remember you were not raised in Lagos and you are from Osogbo, Ibadan or Akure or wherever. When it is time for politics, you're all from Lagos, and then you'll want to swallow his voice and discredit indigenous Lagosian - him that is from Lagos Island.
