How did you get started developing games? I've always loved games since I was a young kid playing on the Super Nintendo. As a teen I started developing Board Games with my friends and family. I moved to Portugal to study Game Development and started working. After I moved back to Brasil I started working on Data2073, where I'm working until this day.

How did you learn about Somnia, and what made you stay? I first came across Somnia while exploring infrastructure solutions that could support scalable and performant Web3 games. What made me stay was the clear focus on gaming — not just as a use case, but as a priority. The team’s vision, combined with the performance and flexibility of the network, made it feel like a strong fit for a game like DATA2073.

What Somnia features have been most useful? Reaching users is always a tricky spot for developers. The right amount and the right type of users is just as important. With Somnia we were able to reach a even bigger community that has embraced Data2073.

How has your experience been with the Somnia ecosystem? Overall, it’s been very positive. Integration has been smooth, and the network has been reliable during development and testing. It allows us to focus more on building the game experience rather than worrying about infrastructure limitations. The support from the team has also been responsive, which makes a big difference when developing in a fast-moving environment. Not to mention the huge Somnia community that has received Data2073 with open arms.
