A friendly warning to distributors: if your customers don’t already have a supplier they trust, I would be very careful about buying peptides from new contacts in China right now.
Don’t let a cheap price make the decision for you. And this is probably not the best time to start testing random new WhatsApp sellers.
Recently, I’ve been hearing more stories about small sales teams taking orders with no real intention of building a long-term business. Some are targeting individual buyers. Others may keep shipping to distributors for a while because the order sizes are bigger — until one day they don’t.
That’s what worries me.
At the same time, the serious players are moving in the opposite direction. The better manufacturers and supply teams are spending more time meeting established overseas distributors, hosting visits, talking about long-term supply, quality, and repeat business.
This industry is becoming more divided.
The good operators will probably get stronger. The bad ones will become more desperate, more short-term, and more willing to break the rules just to make one last sale.
Too many people only care about the money in front of them. In the long run, that damages trust in Chinese suppliers as a whole.
I don’t feel optimistic about that part of the market right now.
