.@TheDemocrats should *REALLY* add to the spending bill a provision that would *BOTH* effectively close the Medicaid gap in GOP states & ALSO make #Medicaid a buy-in #PublicOption to reduce Medicaid churn & admin complications MANY face Nationwide. Thread
Situations like yours @battybutton—which cause MANY to lose insurance (called "churn" in policy parlance) due to admin complications— is why some been urging @TheDemocrats like @PattyMurray & @RepJayapal to make #Medicaid a #PublicOption, so MANY would avoid those difficulties...

Related, Dems not discussing healthcare *nearly* enough this election— though unprecedented number folks stand to lose coverage due to GOP cuts. In 2018, was FAR more healthcare focus— despite min cuts then. *EVERYONE* should know about THIS @SenSanders
⚡ KFF’s @cynthiaccox explains how millions of people are expected to lose health insurance coverage over the next decade with cuts to Medicaid and the ACA in the reconciliation bill, as well as other ACA changes not in the bill. #QuickTake on.kff.org/3GrJ9V5

Donald Trump is Putin's puppet. The Iran war has been a major boon for Russia while significantly harming Ukraine... apart from the US becoming even more of a 🌏 mockery bc of it... Put*n has dreamed for so long of sinking US. Trump is doing so much of that for him...😮

Why?!? BC don't you think a US President earning SEVERAL BILLION *while* in office from crypto, media & gov contracts—literally via his influence over law, economy & pulpit as🌏most powerful person—is VASTLY more worthy of attn & scrutiny than a Congresswoman's student debt?!?🤔

The US now has a mass surveillance state monitoring its population as widespread as China has. The main difference is that in China the CCP operates it directly; America's surveillance state— like everything else— is outsourced, to tech & data brokers. .
Billions of your tax dollars are going to Palantir — and the police state it's helping Trump build could soon be used against you.

No one at work should be saying things that would reasonably be considered offensive or controversial to *anyone* on any side. So you coach them, maybe suspend them over such. You don't however fire ppl from min wage jobs & condemn them to e.g homelessness over such. SERIOUSLY.

Hi Dahlia, ani Yehudit kan. While what Ariana said & did was wrong, you are disgusting for calling for someone's life to be ruined over such. Absolutely ruthless human being you are. If you think you're more intelligent than Ariana you're absolutely no more moral a human being.

How about Trump's culpability in allowing SARS Covid II to become a 🌏 pandemic in the first place — rather than a contained outbreak that SARS Covid I was under George W?!? THAT👆is the *REAL* Covid culpability folks ought to be focusing on. @JamieMetzl

There was an outbreak of THE SAME #SARS(CoV1) in #China in NOV 2002. But UNLIKE Trump, George W had NOT pulled US from WHO *OR* removed CDC's epidemiologists from China. Anyone REALLY think it's "coincidence" SARS(CoV1) didn't become a GLOBAL PANDEMIC but #SARSCoV2 did?!? 🤔2/3

Elon Musk literally committed immigration fraud—which led him down the path not just to wrongful US citizenship... He wouldn't be where he is now but for immigration fraud AND getting BILLIONS in gov $. THAT'S the dude trying to eliminate gov programs. .
Elon Musk’s cuts to U.S.A.I.D. led to some 700,000 deaths, according to Atul Gawande, a former leading administrator at the agency. Gawande, backed by recent academic studies, believes that the death toll will likely reach seven figures. The policy is not only immeasurably cruel, he argues; it is also stupid, badly undermining what remains of American soft power and prestige. On a related note, THIS is the amount of death Donald Trump, Elon Musk & Marco Rubio caused in just one year—just to save less than one percent of America's annual budget. (Forget about all the soft power & goodwill 🇺🇸lost in addition to countless lives.)

Increased spread of numerous infectious diseases— including but far beyond HIV— is just the tip of the iceberg in catastrophic health consequences of gutting Medicaid. But seems little will move Donald Trump, @RobertKennedyJr & @DrOz to do what's right. .
Changes to Medicaid could have severe consequences for Americans with HIV A new work requirement rule goes into effect in January. Experts anticipate higher rates of HIV transmission cidrap.umn.edu/hivaids/chang…

Donald Trump is spending more time & effort strong-arming FIFA than he is trying to reduce rising healthcare & housing costs for Americans.
This is ridiculous. Balogun shouldn't have been sent off. But the idea that the White House is devoting more effort to strong-arming FIFA than it has to reducing housing and healthcare costs is revolting. And the fact that by intervening, Trump may end up tarnishing the team he is purporting to help (not to mention our nation and international sport) only illustrates his narcissism, arrogance, and imbecility. But here we are.

Donald Trump & family are surely spending far more time celebrating the BILLIONS (more) they've earned since 47 took office last year than they're celebrating the 250th anniversary of America. While the Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves.

On election night 2024, I felt a melancholy pang that it would fall to such an unworthy man to represent the nation on a great anniversary. Instead, the man reshaped the anniversary to represent himself. The result is squalid, sordid, and shameful. END

Just in time, @NPR finally had some (rare) Long Covid coverage on @NPRatc this evening--thanks to Kennedy's @HHSGov eliminating the HHS group researching it... It's been acknowledged LongCovid now comprises 5% of chronic illness among Americans overall. . npr.org/2026/06/22/nx-s1-585…

And some wonder why it would be a "big deal" if the fed govt-- under Trump of all presidents-- had a master database of all Americans & their info instantly available to them...🤔 .
There is no grand database that allows the government to run everyone’s name through a computer and immediately know who is a citizen, and who isn’t. The Trump admin is trying to hastily cobble together a version of that, despite knowing that existing data is not fully reliable.
