ALT Len's message: Hello artists! The mods at the Splatoon LAN artist community decided to make a tough decision to not host our event at this year's Riptide. With scheduling conflicts and time constraints, we believe that this is the best course. I love the support and art that have been created from previous events. I can't wait to see y'all events in the future, and I hope everyone has a fun time at Riptide this year.

ALT Jazocorn's message: It's a really difficult decision to make to not continue the Riptide Trading Card project this year and we're so sorry to those who were looking forward to it . This project has meant so much to myself, the moderators, the artists, and the Riptide attendees, and we really hope we can host again in the future. It's truly been a pleasure to be a part of this and to watch the project grow so much in the past few years. I don't know yet if I will be attending Riptide this year either, but I really want to be able to go and see all of you again in person. Thank you so much to those who have participated in the project and we hope we can do something together again in a future LAN.

ALT Luna's message: Hi artists! It's with a heavy heart that we had to announce that we will not be running the trading card project this year. This has been personally weighing on my mind for a few months now, and even though it is unfortunate, I believe it's the best plan of action given myself and the other moderator's current circumstances. Behind the scenes, the trading card project actually would normally be in the planning phases now, and recruitment, production, etc. lasts through Riptide, taking up a total of half a year's time. And unfortunately, this time just doesn't exist for some of us right now. Running the trading card project has truly been the highlight out of anything that I personally have contributed to the Splatoon community. I truly wish that all the time existed in the world to run the project again this year, but unfortunately it is not in the cards. I personally am not sure if I will even be attending Riptide this year due to three trips that all fall either du
