FCA would like to thank pastor Dr. Reginald Woullard and the incredible church family at Shady Grove Baptist Church for welcoming our Southern Miss football team for their 10:45am Sunday service. Thank you... After participating in the first scrimmage of fall camp less than 24 hours earlier on one of the hottest days of the year, these men along with Head Coach Blake Anderson and number of their coaches came to fellowship, worship and hear a timely Word from Dr. Woullard. Timely. Pastor Woullard, a former Hattiesburg High standout running back and once a prep coach of 20 years, challenged all with a message about "Trusting God" from Judges 16:18-22. Needless to say, the message was powerful. Yeah, it was.. Our earnest appreciation for Sunday morning's deposit in the lives of all of us who came and attended. And yes it's absolutely true... When you visit the country, when you get to go close to home...often one may get a chance to eat food that taste like your grandmother was actually in the kitchen. The "Mama'nems" of the church threw down! Baked and fried chicken, beef steak, rice and gravy, greens, cornbread, green beans, mac and cheese, candied yams,...and yes, desert which included every favorite one could imagine. Have mercy... So many of the players and coaches said, they felt right at "home." And for good reasons. Thank you Shady Grove! We are grateful. #trustingGod #onlyasgoodasyourlastplay #SMTTT

Our entire USM team and coaches enjoyed the fellowship and the food provided by Flathau's Fine Foods. It was goooooood! Real good! Pink Huddle 2026 was as significant of a camp gathering we have experienced locally in over a decade. 14 schools sent some of their most influential female leaders for 44 hours of sisterhood, empowerment and equipping spiritually for the seasons ahead. The annual event, hosted by Grace Temple Church of Hattiesburg for the last 15 years, included.. .Fellowship and Worship on the opening night. .Leadership elements and exercises to edify the importance of teamwork. .Visiting Edward Street Fellowship for community service. .Participating in "life" huddles about money, character and the pitfalls of social media. .Learning self-defense (How to get home...) .Worship and Testimony night on Saturday night. .Concluding the weekend together on Sunday morning. This was a special group. Our thanks to everyone who either sponsored, supported in person, and or prayed for this gathering. Special thanks to Grace Temple Church for it's faithfulness. In addition, Heritage Church and Piney Grove Baptist Church, and Team 144 for their resources, their people and their hearts to change a generation for Him. Well today is the day…the final surgery day for @LaurenFBaker it happens to come on the 1yr anniversary of being diagnosed w/ Stage 3 Breast Cancer! What a yr it’s been for us, the physical battle vs cancer is tough, the mental battle is tougher! I hope our Faith through it all
