After link validation, this is probably one of the most useful features we've added to Zensical Studio.
Keeping incoming links intact as documentation evolves sounds simple, but involves many interesting edge cases. This was a lot of fun to build.
Zensical 0.0.61 adds anchor redirects, so incoming links and bookmarks keep working when headings change or content moves.
Zensical Studio now suggests redirects for renamed headings and keeps mappings up-to-date for you.

I really love where this is going: one unified model of your entire documentation project, from Markdown content to configuration.
Project configuration is source code, too.
Zensical Studio now completes and validates mkdocs.yml and zensical.toml, shows previews for navigation items, and keeps paths synchronized when pages move.

Exactly two years after MkDocs 1.6.1 – the last release of the original MkDocs lineage – there's now an installable MkDocs 2.0 pre-release on PyPI.
MkDocs 2.0 is being developed as a ground-up rewrite with a fundamentally different architecture.
