I appreciate the extensive testing @VadimYuryev does, but I suspect something was off with their 17 Pro 4x lens.
I just can’t recreate these issues and it looks more like lens fogging than a software update

One way you could sum up my iPhone 18 Pro camera review: if you have a 16 or older it’s worth it for the better selfie and 4x camera upgraded in the 17 Pro. But if you have a 15 Pro or newer you won’t see a big change in the main 1x camera
