As an editor, I’m always seeking long term professional relationships with writers as opposed to ‘one off’ jobs. While the latter pay the bills, I find it much more rewarding to work closely alongside writers on projects and watch them grow as artists and people. These relationships can also develop into lasting friendships based on mutual trust and respect. They know me and I know them. These are my happy times. I’d rather have five clients for life than fifty that come and go.
