So the unions negotiate with the State for salary and benefit increases every year
The negotiations are done in private behind closed doors
The unions contribute huge dollars to the one party rule of Olympia both directly to candidates and to progressive causes
The unions also strongly support every tax increase that comes along
The government officials representing the tax payers in the negotiation clearly benefit from the spending by the unions
The government officials also seem to approve very attractive pay raises and benefit packages for the unions
The heavy expense of the public employee union contracts is part of the reason spending is so high and over budget
When tax paying citizens ask to see the content of the back scratching, cajoling, threatening, grifting, bribery like, closed door negotiations sessions, the Jay INslee appointed Supreme Court finds that those negotiations between non neutral parties regarding the spending of public tax dollars is not something the public has a right to know
Things that make you go hmmm
Why would the Supreme court rule in that way?
Why is self dealing negotiations by Democrats and their union puppet masters sacred and to be kept a secret?
And why don’t citizens have a right to know?
And why does this WA state supreme court so consistently seem to rule in a partisan way with rulings that flout the WA state constitution?
Its a mystery

Oh @bkheywood, you're clearly not enlightened like FDR, the dashboard saint of Liberals:
FDR firmly stated that "the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service" due to its "distinct and insurmountable limitations." He argued that government employees serve the whole people, whose interests are represented by Congress through laws, not administrative officials who lack authority to bind the government in contracts. FDR also strongly opposed militant tactics, such as strikes, calling them "unthinkable and intolerable" as they obstruct government operations
